TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Yankees will now be able to make another big FA signing, choo? If Seattle makes the trade for price...I would think that choo will be their next target.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 If Seattle makes the trade for price...I would think that choo will be their next target. Then beltran is the obvious choice
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Cano #24 Griffey #24 Never put that one together. Do you think they let Cano keep #24 because you know Griffeys number is going to be retired in Seattle.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Yankees probably end up with a better team as a result. Watch them sign Choo and Infante now.
bzapple Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Yankees will now be able to make another big FA signing, choo? Seems unlikely with their outfield situation, unless they unload Soriano or Ichiro on someone. They'll need to strengthen their infield so I could see them going after Uribe or maybe Drew.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 What the f*** is wrong with that GM. Is he at least going to upgrade the position players or sign a bunch of DH's again and throw them all around the diamond
bzapple Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 They are building a great team. The better the division now, the better their chance of getting 1st overall again and again for the next 2-3 years. It still sucks for their fans to watch their team get pummeled for a 2-3 more years.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Yankees probably end up with a better team as a result. Watch them sign Choo and Infante now. infante will now get more dollars....probably the most excited person to hear about the cano signing...
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Can we get Franklin now please? He would be an ideal fit.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Wow. Cano in Seattle? I better withdraw my Alexei Ramirez for Robinson Cano offer before NJH accepts it.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Ugh I hope Ackley gets traded to a team with a tiny park
JaysRap Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 It's gonna take more than Cano and King Felix to make them competitive, especially in that AL West.
bzapple Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THE DDL IMPLICATIONS THIS HAS!!!! Real baseball? What's that?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THE DDL IMPLICATIONS THIS HAS!!!! Real baseball? What's that? Your sarcasm is unwarranted and unappreciated you cheesefart.
bzapple Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Your sarcasm is unwarranted and unappreciated you cheesefart. Your insults are as lame as Northof49's bragging about his team...or something.
aselvana Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I am getting this scary feeling that this is it from AAA No more improvments The 2014, Toronto bluejays rotation Dickey Buhrleh Morrow for 4 games then Rodgers Happy Hutchinson or that other replacement level starter im with u. not saying cano's signin led me to believe this, but the further we go into the offseason without any significant rumour or trade, the more likely the team is going to stand pat
Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Trade them Reyes/Edwin/Dickey/Morrow for all of their prospects.
Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 That feeling in your stomach when you realize AA was being serious about being confident with Ryan Goins and Macier Izturis at second ................
TheHurl Site Manager Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THE DDL IMPLICATIONS THIS HAS!!!! Real baseball? What's that? got to admit Infante as a Yankee won't bother me
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Insanely stupid signing. This is fantastic for us. Makes the Yanks a lot weaker.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 We were never in on Cano... Get your head out of your ass He just trollin'. You know better
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 We were never in on Cano... Get your head out of your ass Exactly. Like what the f***? 50% of this board made up of posters who have no idea how the Blue jays operate.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Insanely stupid signing. This is fantastic for us. Makes the Yanks a lot weaker. Yep Good players going from good teams to bad teams is awesome for us #LevelThePlayingField
