Buster Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Just saw a replay of that idiocy in the 9th, yelling at Lind for not running on a sac fly to Markakis.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I like Lawrie. But that behavior is inexcusable. Good on Gibbons for giving it to him
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Lawrie is such a douche. Lind would have been out by 10 feet. Markakis' arm + Wonderbread body Glad that Gibbons barked at him.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Anyone have video of this? All I saw was the bench reaction. It never occurred to me that he was that angry about Lind not risking it - staying at 3rd was the right call. Yeah he was mouthing off to Lind/Rivera as he walked off the field.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Sigh, Lawrie is an idiot, maybe he's jealous because Lind is ten times the hitter he is.

Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I thought its Riveras decision, not Linds. Maybe he called Lind a fat bastard, and Rivera a pussy.
admin Site Manager Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Shut your f***ing mouth Lawrie. Take responsibility for your s***** hitting. You hit a shallow fly ball to one of the best arms in the league, with one of the slowest runners in the league on 3B.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 He should be benched a game, ridiculous display, and a total lack of awareness of the situation.

Tuco Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 -Brett Lawrie Is that real? Why is this guy even tweeting 15 minutes after the game? I swear half these guys care more about being heros, making tweets, coming up with fancy celebration routines etc.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Lawrie thinks he's Longoria and Jaypee thinks he's Posey what a pair

JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Inexcusable behaviour by Lawrie. Good decision keeping Lind at third, one run was not gonna tie things so it wasn't worth the risk. Nice to see Gibby put him in check. Anyways enough about the douchebag how about Kawasaki? Great ABs today!
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Hope he sits next game. he should, but the jays lack discipline.

admin Site Manager Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 he should, but the jays lack discipline. I dunno, I could see Gibbons taking no s***. But same time he's a players manager, so I can see him being "we're cool bro".
