Looking to turn some young pitchers into picks from a group that includes Conley, Desclafani, Erik Johnson, Skaggs and A.J. Cole. Can easily keep the pitchers past the cut to facilitate deals.

 

Edit: Heck, I'll throw Jungmann into that group too even though I just acquired him.

 

Further edit: Might as well put Chatwood in the mix too.

I'm not saying I think its some great plan. Just that he's consistent in how he runs his team. Even if the plan is not what I would do, I think its obvious he has a plan.

The plan seems to be to trade every established MLB player for picks and prospects and perpetually finish bottom-5. If so, he's crushing it.

But my team isn't really a contender so the "win now" move isn't really a fair statement.

 

If it was C-Mart I moved for Upton it was more to get out from the possibility C-Mart's shoulder being f***ed and not having to worry about that, plus getting a bat back that I liked.

 

I had a roster crunch and needed to move players without moving Machado. The only guys who'll garner quick interest are other players like Capps & Miller.

And what I don't get is, people ridicule my moves and then later in the year the trade I was ridiculed for the same f***ing tools that ridiculed my trade come inquire about the players I acquired.

Not really much to get. You consistently get ripped off in deals so naturally people will look to pull a fast one.

 

You'd be the guy to recognize that plan wouldn't ya.

 

I've finished higher than 15th place in various leagues, care about winning, and am not unreasonably concerned that everyone on my roster is younger than 24. So, no, I don't know what you're doing but it sure is annoying how you're basically a feeder team for Jaysblue.

 

I don't know why you play fantasy if you're not competitive at all but I guess everyone's cool with it so none of my business.

Latest offer for Machado I turned down.

 

-very young legit ace if healthy, a very high pick in the Rule 4 draft & a top 20 pick in the latest top 100 (MLB) prospects.

 

+ there was an alternate offer of a Top 5 prospect (ace in the making), Solid'ish very young OF, very high pick in the rule 4 draft, top 20 pick in latest top 100 (MLB), former elite pitching prospect and a 1st/2nd tier 2B

 

So I do have some restraint

Just as a heads up, Dinger, z3r0s, and TCA need to cut one prospect each today.

Jaysblue needs to promote or cut Robbie Ray.
