I like this deal for you, although I can understand why Min did it. I like Turner's bat more, but Kang will retain SS eligibility, which Turner will not (although he could conceivably get it back).

 

5 games for eligibility is actually pretty absurd. Is it customizable in Yahoo? I don't think so, but 10 or 15 would be better.

It's not 5 games, though, it's 5 starts or 10 games. I think that's reasonable.

actually I've been on the phone with Lennox Lewis a lot lately, he can teach me old English. My internship with Boxing Ont. is over but I'm continuing on as a committee member with the Olympic fundraiser. Have to get all the Olympians from Ontario out to the golf tourney and Hall of Fame banquet. I know you are a big boxing guy...I'll sign you up for a foursome now. As for my internship I'm now with the City of Mississauga working on the Ontario Summer Games (or Games Ontario as they are about to go through a rebranding.

Anyone ever done a baseball roadtrip? I'm thinking about taking a week off and doing the following...

Angels @ Brewers May 2nd

Red Sox @ White Sox May 3rd

Nats @ Cubs May 5th

Rangers @ Tigers May 6th

Royals @ Indians May 7th

Dodgers @ Jays May 8th

 

One thing I'm concerned about is the cost of the USD. I'm pretty close to begin pulling the trigger on this. If any of you guys have done something like this and can offer tips/advice I'd be really interested.

I've gone up the east coast and central and it's so much fun. Sooooooo much fun. But I can't imagine how expensive that would be.

 

My school's baseball team goes on a trip every year. Last year it was Philly, Baltimore, DC + MiLB. This year it's Boston and NY x2 + MiLB. It's gonna be a lot more expensive than normal. It's at 31% right now I think.

Not bad just over 1,200 miles in the end. I've mapped out several and have done mini minor league trips a few times. Nothing with this much travel. I know Chicago is more expensive to stay on the weekend but it's such a great city that you should be there on a weekend. Adding in Kane County on May 4 (less than an hour from Chicago to see them play Lake County). Isan Diaz, Marcus Wilson, Alex Young and Sergio Alcantara playing with Kane, and can't think of anyone for Lake County.

Would love to do something like this someday. That's an awesome schedule to run into too. Nats @ Cubs would be phenomenal!

So I assume that GD's relationship with Team North takes him out of the running for Silvergun's team (he's serious by the way)...who's next on the list

 

Edit: GD says he's willing to quickly stab North in the back and sodomize him while he's down. He would like to be considered for SG's team.

Co-managers are now illegal in the DDL.

 

Existing ones may or may not be grandfathered.

Silvergun banned for joking about quitting DDL. Legit.

 

He asked me to delete his account via PM. I banned him as I didn't want his account gone and I have a bad history with deleting accounts. This isn't a joke, whatever happened before (I think it was during the draft lottery) has him not wanting to be here.
