Wow, I knew teams were much more cautious on how many times batters see their starters, but I'm surprised the average is now down to 85 pitches. Basically a guy who can effectively pitch six innings on average (without the yank) is now a stud, whereas that was just an average outcome in 2015.
I wonder how they factor in openers / bullpen days, because clearly those are much more common than in yesteryears.
