    A 5-6 WAR on Cease is quite optimistic. He'll average out mid rotation pitcher. I would have gave the money to Bellinger and traded Varsho for young mid rotation pitcher and utility infielder. Bellinger is a 5 WAR, has vertsality. Have enough cash to sign Bo and Tucker that way. Or just one and add Diaz or Suarez for bullpen.

    Cease isn't an ace. He's #2. Doesn't pitch deep into games will wear your bullpen. Walks is why, Gives up too many homeruns for Rogers. Likely slide to a #3.

    Rogers should have the dough. After World Series run. I expect them to pick up remaining option on Maple Leafs and Scotia Bank next summer and take MSLE public. Headed for lockout after next season. Will end up hard cap. Value of franchise should go to moon. Once they get salaries tied to revenue. Along with leases. Rogers own their park so value of Blue Jays franchise should sky rocket in coming years.

    Bellinger versatility Jays will like. He's good center fielder and can play first or corner outfield. With .817 bat. Around 30HRS and 100 RBI.

    Doubt they sign two starting pitchers. Suarez is left we need, but Bassist? Rather spend the money on bullpen, Fairbanks? Gausman, YeSavage, Bieber, Saurez, is good front 4. Berrios and Lauer as 5/6th starters.
