  1. Beiber if he wants to stick around as third starter.
  2. This team is close I imagine we see increase. Bassitt, Bichette, Scherzer likely gone. Plus Green 10 million off the books, that's 60 million we can spend. They sign a top 3 starter and utility infielder at least. IKF likely done. Other starting 8 are set.
  3. Burnes has thrown a lot of innings. He wants too much money. Too risky for me
  4. Trade Vlad. Doubt Toronto are in the race this year. AL East tough division. Boston, Yankees, all added this winter
  5. According to what we can get? If Jays can get the right haul and take Vlad money to sign Burnes. Be an option
  6. Can't lose Vlad for nil though
  7. Can we sign Santander or Bergman. Trade Vlad for big haul of youth? Doubt Vlad signs here
  8. How much will Soto get this off season?
  9. Lukes and Loperfido whoever has best spring training next year is 4th outfielder. Other guy starts in AAA. Get a few at bats and gives team depth. Both left handed bats, like 5th outfielder be right-handed bat.
  10. Must been Belt's wish not to sign. He was decent last year. A lot better than some guys we signed.
  11. No way can do a Bo extension. With his calf problem. After Donaldson and Travis had similar issues.
  12. Kikuchi 4-0, 0.98 WHIP with Astros
  13. They going for power now. Which increases strikeouts. Runs scored up 10% from 1988.
  14. I'd never play Kirk. He's .230 hitter, Takes him 4 days to get to first base. You know it's automatic double play before he even picks up a bat
  15. Mentioned in last night's telecast batting average in MLB is .245. In 1993 MLB batting average was .265. Seeing Ohtani and Judge chasing all-time records, I decided to dig a little deeper. I found power has increased. Back in '93, MLB hit 4,000 homeruns. It's up almost 50% to 5,800 last season. The 2024 season not complete yet.
  16. Former 4th overall pick. Hopefully we can right him. Turn him into another Francis
  17. Around 15m is a little steep where I wanted to go. I'd offer Pivetta Kikuchi's 12 million though.
  18. How much do you guys think Pivetta will sign for this winter?
  19. We might have our front of rotation pitcher for next year
  20. Free agency seems to be well stocked in bullpen arms this year. We could be in luck
  21. If he would sign for Bo 17 million I do it.
  22. Getting a #1 hard to do. Expensive also. Pivetta looked like good arm for 5th starter. Gives depth. Pushes Rod to long relief or spot starter
