You want a veteran closer. Because they will sign a short term contract. Closers usually have short shelf life. Guys like Diaz will want long term.

I would trade Varsho for front of rotation controllable pitcher. Allows us to sign both Bo and Kyle Tucker. Vlad/Tucker/Bichette middle of lineup is murderers row. Myles Straw is Gold Glove Joey is decent in center also. But upgrade from Lukes to Tucker is huge. Add a starter pushing Bieber to 4th starter. You have Bieber as 4th starter is great rotation. Berrios as 5th. Lauer gives bullpen depth.

With Bieber and Gausman free agents next year. Jays need a controllable long term starter. Dylan Cease is my first choice. Around 5/110?

Plays so hard causes him to be He's injured too much for me. Only averages half a season

Straw is gold glove centerfielder, Joey L. Can play center. Moving Varsho lets us keep Bo and sign Tucker. Or a star closer Varsho for Donovan and Liberator be good deal. Southpaw starter plus super utility guy. Rotation be set with Liberator, Lauer and Berrios fighting it out for 4-5th starters.

Would you move Varsho for those two? Jays have outfield depth.

Jays bats are good as is. Spend the money on pitching. You can't rely on Berrios. Lauer could be next year's Bowden Francis. Add an arm to back of bullpen. Jansen or Fairbanks be a good arm for bullpen.

Dylan Cease and Jansen probably. Cease make great 4th starter. Jansen was good in the pen. I still have 15 million left. Maybe add infield utility player. IKF leaves?

Great for Jays. Bieber is good starter for 16 million. He must be betting on himself. Robbie Ray did same. Won Cy Young the next year

We got to WS without Bichette. I would add top starter and top reliever than sign him. Gimenez is ss and Clement 2b. Best hitting team without Santander. He's due to bounce back. Plus we have some youngsters coming with good bats.
