  1. Nice series win puts us half a game out of the wildcard, 1 game back of the Yanks and 3 back of the O's. Shoutout to Kirk for some timely hits this series. Shoutout to Kirk for also not being able to make it home from second base on what should be an easy run scored for an mlb player. Remember this is the guy we kept over Moreno haha. Time will tell obviously but I still think it was a s*** decision.
  2. Huge win, guaranteed split against probably still the best team in the league. I think Bassit should have been allowed to finish, almost bit Schnieder in the dick. Shout out to the pitch clock, 2 hour game was so nice.
  3. This pretty much sums it up for me. People keep bringing up like the only 3 players ever to be overweight and successful pitchers in the MLB as if its something common. It is so rare for it to actually work. out.
  4. f*** yes, hate the Astros.
  5. The Yankees, Dodgers, Rays, Astros, Braves all deal with starting pitching injuries no problem at all because their farm systems and development are so good. Why can't we be like them? There is no reason we can't. The average fan can see that Atkins body of work has produced a house of cards. Pretty good starting roster that can compete, with little to no depth at most positions especially all facets of pitching. It could sink the team at any time with injuries and could sink the team in the near future with player departures. Its already become a problem with one SP being terrible. While the Yankees and Rays and Dodgers just plug and play young guys and keep rolling. Atkins can easily be blamed, all you have to do is look at the best teams in the league and ask why we cant be like them. Atkins blows.
  6. Something has to change. Were fighting with our whole division and a couple wagons over in the AL West for a wildcard and basically punting games into the sun trotting Manoah out there. May as well pitch Pete Walker if were not going to try anything else.
  7. As if it would happen mid game, but something needs to happen. However fans have been saying it after the last 2 or 3 starts. So who knows what the management will do. I think they are as aware as we are that the SP depth is a wasteland and nobody can really come in and do better.
  8. I guess were still punting games into the sun by starting Manoah, wtf is going on? Is our SP depth just that f***ing bad that they just trot out Manoah every 5 days because we have nobody better?!!? Also why pull him when the game is already lost and waste the whole bullpen. What a s*** start to this series that everyone seen coming from a mile away after such a good week and a half period.
  9. whooaa lol, he ripped that. Made up for the bases loaded situation. Lets go
  10. lol nobody thought Varsho was doing anything there
  11. Yah people also use it for weight loss. It was a huge problem in the states (not sure if it is anymore), all the fat f***s who are too lazy to exercise and not eat Mcdicks 6 times a week were using all the Ozempic, there wasn't enough supply for the Diabetes people who actually needed it.
  12. Two series wins in a row good to see. Romano should ditch the WWE intro it was cool the first couple times but that s*** is obnoxious.
  13. Yah agreed he has definitely built a house of cards
  14. So we just pencil in Manoahs starts as an L from now on hey
  15. The most basic factual levels of biology prove that boys have dicks and girls have vaginas. In this day and age if you want to say your something different it is widely accepted. Im not saying I land on one side or the other, but there is always going to be people who think thats f***ed up, that will never change. The smart people keep it to themselves. Based on Bass' twitter and social media history he is not very smart about these kinds of things. It shouldn't surprise anyone that this happened to him. If I were a coach on the Jays id tell him to stay the f*** off social media and just pitch, or you will be gone. It will blow over if he shuts up.
  16. Bluejays pounded holes all over the field tonight- Joe Siddall
  17. Is it even remotely possible to keep them both? Recency bias says its Bo and a no brainer. However im skeptical to give up on Vladdy so soon. If he can fully put it together I think he his true self is closer to his almost MVP season.
  18. haha cause thats currently how we are playing...roughly. Anyway I think its closer to .300 against the division and .650 against the rest of the league. We could definitely still make the playoffs if that happens just have to win 80 games against the rest of the league.
  19. A series win wow, now starts the June tear. 250 baseball against the division and 700 against the rest of the league is still like 90 wins I think lol
  20. It seems like Vlad is stuck in a mental rut. He has all the tools but gets over anxious when the pressure is on to be the guy. Its frustrating knowing how much potential he has and his failure to reach it. I dont care what people say about control and small sample size. but Varsho looks terrible, the trade looks terrible. Atkins job has to be in question for this alone if it doesn't turn around. He has a 0.4 WAR so far compared to Moreno's and LGJ 1.9. Defense is suppose to be his strong suit but he doesn't look that great. We traded a top 10 MLB prospect who is a catcher a highly coveted position. Instead of trading Jansen who spends a third of every season on IL and an overweight guy who can hit a little. And we got Daulton f***ing Varsho everybody. Bichette and KK have been our best players by far since Chappy has come back to Earth. I think we are going to be scrapping it out for a wilcard spot at 85-90 wins, but I think there is going to be some serious considerations for big changes after this year. There has to be with the underperformance and roster blunders, not to mention the farm system being a wasteland.
  21. Maybe we are going to play .200 against our division and .750 against the rest of the league.
  22. The fact that this FO still has a job here with this being a thing is mind blowing to me.
  23. Sabathia never had to adjust to a pitchclock. He averaged around 19 seconds between pitches which was even slower than Manoah was last year.
  24. I dont know it looks like to me he is sweating a lot more than last year and today he let the pitch clock run all the way down to 1 or 2 almost every time without even checking on the runners. I see a lot of comments saying his weight, his cardio or the pitch clock are lazy excuses, but it could be that simple.
