Nice to see the offense showing up again. Everyone saying the underlying numbers say we have one of the best offenses in the league but it never seems to show up when it counts and seems to be trending in the wrong direction

Bowden Francis- Does well in bulk relief Bluejays FO- Lets option this guy he sucks and punt another game into the sun with Mitch White lol. Honestly hopefully he does better against one of the better lineups in the league than he was in the minors. Not very high hopes for this one.

If your talking about Front Offices that field a competitive team via trades, FA or whatever resources are available to them sure the Jays are up there in the middle for now. If your Looking at the team on the field, the depth, the farm system and sustainability I would absolutely put the Jays down in the bottom tier.

Atkins has proven he can make the trades and FA signing to keep the product on the field competitive. However the current snap shot of the farm system has got to be in the lower half of the league talent wise. This whole sustainable winning and constant flow of young talent he has talked about seems to be a mirage. At this rate I have no doubt we will regress into a .500 and worse teams by 2025, 26, 27. You just cannot sustain a playoff team by FA signings and trades, unless you are the Yankees, but even they have a decent farm. The best teams in the league have great farm systems that are constantly being replenished with new young talent. I truly believe if Atkins gets s*** canned and someone is hired who can take the farm to a good-elite level our little 5 year window can be extended drastically. Which raises an interesting question. If we are fighting for a 3rd wildcard spot all season something that didn't even exist a couple years ago, would you rather miss and have Atkins fired, or make it and likely keep him around for another season or two.

Boo f***ing hoo seriously. The people who come strictly to bitch can be annoying but there is an ignore button. Also the homers who according to them the Jays players, coaches and FO can do no wrong are annoying as f*** too. And the most insufferable of the bunch is the people who constantly complain about the people complaining.

Yanks Jays and Astros all lose 2/3 over the weekend so nothing changes in the standings there. Orioles sweep, they pull further away.

haha nah Atkins still sucks, we have a competitive team but its fragile as f*** and the longevity of it is very much up in the air.

Its hard to argue, this season has been quite disappointing to this point. Especially the way we are constantly sold that we are world series contenders. Monah regressed all the way to the minors. Varsho trade (so far) looking pretty terrible. Vladdy looking more like low level star then the superstar he is suppose to be. Dont even have a single 6th SP to come in and take Manoahs spot lol. Farm system seems like a wasteland but maybe my knowledge of it is not great I dunno. However its a very long season thats not even half over yet, we could still get it together and snag a wildcard then anything can happen. Division is gone for sure. But I wouldn't count the Jays out yet.

Atkins especially, guy has built a house of cards with no depth at all anywhere. Were about to lose Chapman, replaced by Barger?? Maybe. We will lose either Bo or Vladdy in a couple years. Springer is getting old. Were suppose to winning now but we cant even win our division. Not sure why people still back this guy.

Theres no way to judge the trade right now. Im definitely in the camp of Atkins is a jerk off, Moreno will probably be a stud, Kirk will deteriorate due to his weight. LGJ im ok with letting go we weren't resigning him after this year anyways. Varsho...I dont know seems like good defender with a little bit of pop and nothing more. Not the best return (so far anyway), hope im proven wrong!

I think maybe Rivera put up the stop sign playing it safe assuming we would score with 0 outs when he probably should have sent him. Always hard to tell.

Meh its such a polarizing trade it is going to be rehashed over and over and over for the next 4 years till we get a solid result in who won and loss. So I dont know what else to tell you but should probably get used to it. Im sure there was another trade with another team that could have netted a decent player for Kirk or Jansen while keeping Moreno and LGJ. But we will never know.
