  1. Another earned run off another hit, 7 runs now EDIT: Now he hit a batter
  2. Manoah just gave a homer, 6 earned runs in 1.2 IP
  3. Yariel will be starting for the Bisons again today, Macko starting for the Fisher Cats.
  4. Manoah on the bump in Dunedin, things are not going well. At least with counting stats they aren't. 1.1 IP 4 walks 1 hit 2 earned 2 Ks Looks like he's sitting 93-94mph with 4 seam and sinker
  5. Vladdy is a dumb dumb I just hope he does enough this year for the Jays to be able to extract some value for him in a trade. We'll see how the season goes but I'm thinking this is the last year of Vlad and Bo in Jays uniforms
  6. Good news, the Rays were down 6-1 and gave come all the way back to tie their game The Rockies are really good
  7. We almost won! We almost won! We almost won! That was a close one fellas! Scored 8 big runs! Goooooooo offense! When this team starts rolling on all cylinders they will be unstoppable
  8. Yep just left the game in the middle of a full count after only 21 pitches
  9. Fernando Perez didn't have a good start yesterday for Dunedin, but Barriera is on the bump today. Nimmala had a good first game in low A, see how it goes in game 2 starting right away
  10. Very true but seems to be trending down. We'll see. I remember in 2022 he was complete ass until late August and then went nuts and ended up over 5 fWAR
  11. I'm just guessing here, but probably because it's not his fault?? I mean one has the IQ of a bag of hammers and can't make adjustments to MLB pitching, the other has T-rex arms with a 60 inch waste line. Coaching can only go so far.
  12. A lot of things do seem to go wrong with this team for sure, I get it. Vlad turning into a 1 WAR first baseman with the IQ of a peanut Bo looking like he doesn't want to be here, but also being a below average defensive 3 WAR SS Manoah cratering from a 6 WAR starting pitcher into a negative WAR nightmare Pearson, once a top 5-10 prospect in all of baseball barely being able to hold down a relief spot Kirk, a guy who literally destroyed pitching all the way up the MiLB ladder and into MLB now swinging a wet noodle that he somehow managed not to eat. Jansen unable to go more than 30-40 games without pulling a muscle or breaking a bone. That's why I chuckle at the haters of the front office. The fact this team still manages to win about 90 games a year with all those "core" pieces turning into wet mushy cow manure borders on being some sort of miracle IMO.
  13. These sumabitches will find the cloud in every silver lining.
  14. Why so defensive? I didn't say there is anything wrong with it or disparage it in any way. I'm only saying that in every relationship there is a giver and a receiver, and on the whole, a relationship between the AL Central teams and AL East teams the Central teams would very likely be the receivers, in a similar fashion as you are. This is all just common knowledge (or at least I thought) nothing to get bent out of shape about. My apologies if you took it the wrong way. I mean if anyone should be on the defensive it would be me, as a result of your unproved attack calling me a "tool" IIRC, but I tend not to worry about such things, as I realize I must have hurt your feelings by pointing out the obvious fact that AL Central teams (again, on the whole) are much weaker than AL East teams and (on the whole) don't impress me as much as they seem to impress you.
  15. It's the pitch clock, just ask Scherzer.
  16. In his FA year too, that's rough.
  17. They'd all get their s*** pushed in (ya know, the way you do on a nightly basis) playing in the AL East
  18. Looks like a bunch of crappy teams that would probably finish last in the AL East to me, but one of them will be gifted a divisional playoff spot and at least one more will probably be in the WC hunt because of their lighter schedule and not having to play 50+ games against the AL East.
  19. At least Jennings had a solid start
  20. Bisons offense is waking up, they've now scored 11 runs in their last 4 innings spanning two games in a double header today.
  21. Richards was the reliever I was most worried about holding up but he's dialed in. He's like the reliever version of Marco Estrada
  22. Jennings on the bump for Vancouver today, hopefully he builds off last season.
  23. Still not what you want to see haha Let's just hope he didn't get injured.
