    Speaking of promotions with Zulu/Tiedemann and Kloff/Palmer all moving up a level, Max Castillo was also promoted up to AAA. Kind of a forgotten arm but he started and won for the Bisons today. 7 IP 2 Hits 2 Walks 0 Earned runs 8 Ks Only 23 years old still.

    Hopefully Merryweather is figuring out how to miss bats again down in AAA So far so good in just 3.1 innings down there. 5 K's, 0 runs, 0.6 WHIP Between him, Pearson, Hernandez and possibly later on guys like Tiedemann/Frasso/Zulueta/Juenger the Jays might have a deeper pen that can miss bats.

    Was perusing fangraphs and decided to have a look at what Austin Martin and SWR were up to this year. Austin Martin is struggling with an 89 wRC+ in AA and has a .093 ISO Yikes SWR has bounced back somewhat in his 2nd year of AA, has a low ERA at 2.20 but it may not last since he has a .192 BABIP / 3.79 FIP / 4.90 xFIP

    Very encouraging. I remember reading somewhere that his profile was very similar to Ray before the Jays acquired him, the upside is there for sure. It'll be fun when Berrios/Gausman/Manoah/Kikuchi are all in the groove at the same time, maybe even Ryu can find his groove again too. This team will go on some nice runs if/when that happens.

    What's the deal with Vladdy's two 15 year old brothers? When can they be signed by a MLB team? Or is MLB still looking to implement an international draft? I am woefully ignorant on IFA rules. Vladdy said in an interview with Hazel that he thinks they are both better than he was at the same age, but he's probably just being nice. Still though, you'd think the Jays might have an inside track on these two with Vlad a Jay.

    I've noticed that Kloffenstein has somewhat turned things around in his last few starts. After his s*** last season, and rough start this season I'd kind of written him off, but he's still just 21 in A+ and his K/9 is up, BB/9 is down and his xFIP has improved to a respectable 3.81 Nothing eye popping, but improvement is nice to see.
