  1. This is true, but I'm not sure what we'd be trading for right now. Don't see too many weak spots in the roster right now except for high leverage bullpen guys, and I don't think you're trading top prospects for bullpen arms.
  2. After this game Teo and Biggio might get above a 100 wRC+ That would give the Jays 10 regulars above that mark with Chapman the only main guy under and he's at 93 wRC+ Team is raking now
  3. Man does Odor ever suck. Nice throw you f***ing tool lol
  4. Gausman must be wondering why the Jays offense doesn't do this for him lol
  5. I'd rather they play Moreno in the OF than have to watch Tapia ever hit for the Jays again.
  6. Looks like Bowden Francis isn't starting anymore. His last 4-5 appearances have been in a relief role.
  7. He gave up 1 earned run and pitched 6 innings in that game lol And who's worshipping FIP? I didn't even mention FIP in my post.
  8. Yeah, if only Gausman and his 2.67 ERA / 3.0 fWAR would just pitch better lulz Him being 5-5 is a f***ing travesty His team mates don't help him enough.
  9. Seeing as they just signed Kikuchi to a 3 year deal with starter money, I bet he'll get a lot of rope to find consistency. Hopefully he doesn't hang himself with it. He had a 2.36 ERA / 2.65 FIP in May (5 starts) and that includes 2 starts vs the Yankees.
  10. Frasso today: 4 IP, 1 hit, 0 runs, 2 walks, 4 K's, 58 pitches, 39 strikes
  11. I sure wish the Jays had more swing and miss in their bullpen 0-2 right away on Cabrera and he can't finish him after 8 pitches EDIT: Nice, got him on the 9th
  12. fWAR takes everything into account does it not? -0.6 vs -0.5 Both below replacement level (IE they suck)
  13. They both suck, one is way more expensive.
  14. I noticed the Grichuk/Tapia trade thread hadn't been bumped in a while, so I went and looked up how Grich had been doing lately lol Not so good .680 OPS 79 wRC+ -0.5 fWAR He a right handed and more expensive Tapia
  15. Ok fine, but how much longer are they going to continue giving ABs to Tapia that should be going to Kirk? That ******** needs to stop.
  16. I'll say it again... Raimel Tapia with his 69 wRC+, .600 OPS and -0.6 WAR Has almost as many PAs this season as.... Alejandro Kirk with his 155 wRC+, .891 OPS and 1.9 WAR And that's with Danny Jansen hurt for most of the season so far! What the f***?
  17. f*** me. Tapia getting at bats over Kirk at this point (at any point, really) is absolute f***ing lunacy.
  18. Yeah, likely just wishful thinking on my part. Any single one of those players would be a solid add, all three is a pipe dream.
  19. Dahian Santos got knocked around yesterday. 3 IP, 4 hits, 4 walks, 6 earned runs, 3 Ks Hopefully bounces back strong in his next outing
  20. I wouldn't mind seeing the Jays go after both Quintana and Bednar from the Pirates if Ryu is indeed FUBAR for the season. I'd say Reynolds too, but that wouldn't be cheap and I doubt the Jays FO has too much interest in paying that price when he's struggling this season and I also wonder how inclined they would be to break up the "Barrio" Ah f*** it. Jays should definitely kick tires on a package for Quintana/Bednar/Reynolds. That's a big fat pile of exactly what they need IMO. Mid rotation / back end lefty starter High leverage reliever/closer with multiple years of control that can miss bats Switch hitting OF with multiple years of control so we can get rid of Zimmer and stop playing Tapia so much
  21. So nice to just relax and enjoy an ass kicking Berrios is back baby!
