Ya thats true but hes playing out of position because the team found someone better at his best position. He will always have to deal with something like this since he's not really elite at any position.

Agreed on the first part. Just throwing s*** out there unnecessarily out of frustration. Special treatment is sticking with the guy more than you would for the average player (e.g. Bo at SS which he rightfully deserves). I didn't think Biggio deserved that treatment at 3B. I do agree that he should be in the lineup almost everyday when healthy. Would just prefer that to be at 2B/LF/RF.

Agreed. It's tough for players not to want to try even harder to make up for their defensive miscues. He is too damn good of a hitter to change anything at the plate. Still remember Edwin becoming the player he did once he moved to 1B so it's definitely a real thing for some.

I hate Biggio at 3B man, I don't hate Biggio overall. I think he can be valuable by playing all over and more so playing 2B/RF. And I do value Bo/Vlad/Teo/Gurriel over Biggio as players but that's my personal preference. So I'll be harder on Biggio than those guys because of it.

You think only 2 times Semien has played SS has been during Ryu starts. Not a fluke imo. Asking Bo to play 2B here and there is definitely related to not killing Bo's confidence/ego. Anyways, I hate being pinned to the extremes like I'm totally anti Bo. Just mentioning that he might need to play 2B if he doesn't turn it around isn't crazy. Bo does not have any past experience playing SS at a high level. He was always pegged as a weak Major League SS by scouts and we can see why so far. Heck, our own management has gone after a few SS over the past few years (Lindor, Simmons) for that reason. Anyways, Let's go Bo and Lets go Blue Jays! Hope he does turn it around.

Of course. I am just making an assumption that Bo wasn't even approached to play 2B today because of what it would mean for his ego. The biggio thing came about because another poster said he does deserve special treatment. I don't put him near that category. Anyways, Ryu just got hurt. f***!!

Adding 2 of our top 4 hitters in the lineup next series should fix things hopefully.

Biggio is more valuable no doubt. I was only speaking about today's lineup man. I don't believe anyone but Vladdy/Bo/Ryu/Springer deserve special treatment on this team. Rest should be treated based on how they're performing at the moment.
