"So if he already does that now" then why the hell is he being hired. Clearly the job being done now was not good enough lol

Exactly how I feel. Hard ot celebrate Montoyo losing his job when he seems like a great human being. BUT from a pure baseball standpoint, which is mostly what I care about, this needed to happen. This season wasn't all his fault because i feel most of the moves made are in conjuction with Shatkins but we need a Manager who is taken more seriously and gets listened to when he speaks like a true leader. From the outside, felt like the players run the clubhouse and enough of that crap.

Well obviously 2016 is AA's team and 2020 was a shortened season where Ryu was top 3 in CY young... that should tell you everything about that season lol. Ultimately this front office has no excuse but to at least make the playoffs this year. If we somehow don't even do that, Shatkins entire tenure will begin to be questioned

This team has been a joke from the start. We knew there were flaws when we had a negative run differential while being 10 games over .500. Brightside, team has talent so we're obviously not far off. It's hilarious how the only winning this franchise has done are when Shatkins were totally against the moves in 2015 lol. The honeymoon phase with this management is over... they've had 7 years to put this together and we've yet to even make the playoffs. I don't want to hear any more excuses... just do better or gtfo. Having Charlie as your Manager during these winning times is probably the most frustrating part of their tenure.

Oakland has had no issues having their balls carry against us lol
  6. Jays24
Wow... Montoyo actually left Cimber in there... he must be pissed inside lol
  7. Jays24
We really about to get swept by Oakland? Lol
  8. Jays24
Like how the f*** do you waive Kirk in after he fully stopped in front of you. Killed the entire inning.
  9. Jays24
Are you f***ing kidding me? That's a fireable offense man. f***ing idiot
  10. Jays24
Was this why all coaches met yesterday during the game? That's horrible Ned's man
  11. Jays24
Just get the robo umps here already... this shits annoying
  12. Jays24
Already assumed as much once I saw only cash was going the other way lol.
  13. Jays24
    Guessing this guy sucks?
  14. Jays24
Watch the replay and then you'll see. It was an easy force play at 2B
  15. Jays24
Just pointing out that I wish Bo covered 2B instead of going for the ball.
  16. Jays24
That was an easy out at 2nd if not for the shift
  17. Jays24
That's a double play if it doesn't touch Lawerence
  18. Jays24
Got lucky that the first bat broke or that would be 2 HRs this inning
  19. Jays24
That would be awesome. I was holding out hope that if he had a long enough inning, he'd stay in the game but obviously that's a bit aggressive lol
  20. Jays24
    See yall tomorrow
  21. Jays24
The worst part of this is that Kirk will be our runner at 2B... probably time to pinch run Moreno.
  22. Jays24
Springer just saved us from a huge inning
  23. Jays24
That's what you get for aggressively shifting against a s***** hitter
  24. Jays24
Devils advocate says that having the first baseman hold Epsy opened more of the field for Biggio to do what he does, which is pull the ball.
  25. Jays24
I cant believe players don't do that more often. Force the defense to straighten out so you can pull the ball easier...
