Im not really a fan of giving up too much for a 2.5 year rental but if we had to do it, Teo and Moreno seem like the obvious pieces to give up without hurting our current on field team. Kirk/Jansen have C in a great spot for us while Soto would take over Teos spot in the outfield.

Cant believe Kirk is this friggin good! Thank god we held onto him lol
  3. Jays24
Haha Zimmer knew the only way he was getting on base was by getting hit lol
  4. Jays24
How are we not pinch hitting for this useless scrub?
  5. Jays24
Based on the numbers... how does Pete Walker still get labelled as a pitcher whisperer? s*** happens lol

Probably because the expectation of this team was to be elite offensively, not just good. A lot of the main guys have gone backwards from last year so it seems pretty straight forward as to why people aren't happy. Also doesn't help the Yankees are where we'd hoped to be in the standings (ok maybe not that far ahead but still).

Praying for such things are why people don't believe in God... some things are just impossible lol
  8. Jays24
    Talk about getting lucky lol
  9. Jays24
That Drumstick advertisement in CF with Kirk at the plate is just wrong loll
  10. Jays24
Blame Devon White for not saying anything. But the man did help win 2 World Series for us so you're on your own there lol.

Why the hell does Zimmer get any at bats man? There's Biggio/Tapia on the bench and yet you waste at bats on this scrub prior to the allstar break. Guess we know the lineups weren't Montoyos fault.

As great as Soto is... no way you're trading all that for a rental even if its Soto. And I thought he had 1.5 years left of control.
  13. Jays24
How do you even trade for Soto when he rejected that contract. Do you actually think we are going to offer more here? No way you mortgage your team for a rental.

Report: Nats will entertain Soto trade offers after $440M offer rejected https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/2379581 Who the hell has the balls to reject 440M even if there's a few extra years on the contract. How do you trade for Soto knowing that lol.

Really surprised we DFA'd Romo already... I was sure he was going to cost us many more games before being cut lol
  16. Jays24
Whoever predicted this would happen, give me tonight's lottery numbers lol
  17. Jays24
Confirmed that Teo was a Montoyo hater lol
  18. Jays24
Until he makes the first decision that you don't agree with lol
  19. Jays24
Let's not forget how much he still needs to work on his Tulo impersonations. His running throws scare the hell out of me lol.
  20. Jays24
Oh come on... that was a routine play man loll.
  21. Jays24
    Eat that Tapia haters lol

You should easily be able to play 2B if you're playing SS. It's like saying a CF can't play RF or LF, which Springer has done on many occasions now. Just annoying to hear all this talk about winning now and yet in back to back seasons... we've handicapped ourselves at the most important defensive position in baseball. Everybody else can be moved around or substituted defensively except Bo for some reason...
  23. Jays24
So when the hell are we going to move Bo off SS? Back to back years we've had the better SS play 2B because we don't want to hurt his feelings. Best man for the job is the way it should be when youre in win-now mode period!!

When Rogers charges everyone some of the highest prices in the world, they can afford to waste money like this. That extension was a joke from the start and looks even dumber now. Go look at most people's reaction when that news was announced lol
  25. Jays24
Not a single thing will change in terms of roster/lineup management. That was clearly a collective effort. Now I hope the players take him seriously and cut it out with the fooling around. It's cute when you're young and not expected to win but not when you were one of the World Series favourites.
