    12 stolen base and only caught 4 times for a catcher is impressive

    I can't recall but this season not on Schneider. With 6 starters on DL much of season. Vlad going AWOL. Lost Kirk, Barger and Springer for long stretches. Cut that in half this is a 90 win team.

    Our record since trade deadline reminds me of '98. We were buried in standings, sold at deadline then went 26-6 to get back in race. Only to fall apart last two weeks or so.

    Speed makes big addition to a lineup. Stolen base, going first to third, advancing on sacrifice fly. Puts pressure on defense, cuts off balls hit in the gap.. Many more advantages.
