  1. I would say Lowes is worse tbh.
  2. 30 pints. We actually went to Lowes because they had a sale but apparently the amount they have in stock online isn't the actual real number. Lowes is a pretty s*** store though so I really should have expected that. I'll try a different one tomorrow.
  3. There’s no such thing as white heritage. There’s irish heritage, Italian heritage and so on, but white heritage is a made up things for racists to hide behind. Yes, I know there is black heritage but there are good historical reasons for that in the states.
  4. I'm guessing white supremacists don't watch a ton of bball but they must be very confused when someone hits a three and flashes this low going back up the court. Stupid is an understatement.
  5. We need a dehumidifier and everyone on craigslist is asking for $200 for ones made in 2011. So, one of those, please.
  6. They aren't asian, they are sneaky white. It's been a sham this whole time.
  7. I think we found the guy who knows all the legitimate white power hand signs. The plan worked!
  8. I don't see colour so.. Mike Trout? He plays center field.
  9. This is possibly dumb, but let;s say you have 50 control and 30 control and otherwise stellar stuff. Could you just aim for the dead middlle of the zone and let your below average command take it to the edge? Or would you kill your catcher?
  10. Boo to you and your BA account.
  11. I still don't really understand tbh. Why would they have less leverage? Do they become a different kind of free agent? edit: just to be clear, im talking about the players not the jays when i say 'they'.
  12. Can you explain how that would work? If you miss your window, you become a free agent? Is that better or worse for them?
  13. I would guess the only way we get one of them with 2018 money is if they have a promise of 1.5 or below in the 2019 window. They will probably drag it out long enough and maybe try to get us to trade for more space to get them. That however, is WILD speculation on my part because I have no f***ing clue whats happening.
  14. Yea, whatever we had left from 2018 could be spent on them I think. However, I don't see why they wouldn't just wait until the 2019 window because teams would have more money, right? I think we have at least 1.5 million in 2018 money (from the trades) so possiby they will just offer all that to one of those guys.
  15. I decided to do some mild sleuthing. Looking at the MLB pipeline international top 30 for 2019, the only two guys who aren't 'projected' to sign somewhere (or who they forgot to write that in their bio maybe) are number 7 (yiddi Cappe) and 17 (maximo Costa). There are also the two cuban guys who didn't sign last year (Cano and Sanchez). The two cuban guys are old enough to be close if they are good so for a team on our timeline would be interesting gets. I don't have a baseball america acc which would prob refute all this lol. Edit: I guess those cuban guys could be targets for our remaining money this year also.
  16. In the juiced ball era, maybe contact guys who hit line drives are the way to go .
  17. Kirk had two doubles and a walk today. Groshans is back. This season has been a real mixed bag for me as Jansen (a guy I had high hopes for) just doesn’t look like the same guy... that’s probably premature.. as are worries over smith. However, Kirk, Pearson and groshans are providing a lot of hope.
  18. He was also a 34 year old coming off an elbow injury and a season where his return to form was precipitated by a slight jump in velocity (2mph i think?), which seemed unlikely to repeat given said injury. I'll be honest though, I thought it was more than 3 million.
  19. I wholeheartedly agree with this. Bucholz was a waste of time especially.
  20. There’s nothing going to convince me less than someone telling me with certainty that someone is never going to be good. You don’t know. I don’t know if it is a 5% chance or a 1% chance or an 8% chance but the front office obviously thinks there is a chance. If that is so, that is worth investing in when we aren’t trying to win.
  21. Brantley would surely take some time from Hernandez, or McKinney or Drury/gurriel if/when they play outfield. I’d take Brantley as long as I could trade him to a team at the deadline. I would guess he wouldn’t have signed with us because he knew that’s what we would do.
