    Me too on Carroll. This seems like the exact era to take a chance on someone who’s only perceived weakness is power. If he has everything else, we are in great shape.

    Are there any non mock draft focused people out writing on the MLB draft? Just guys predicting how good players will be and going in depth on that.. and having some out there opinions.. whether from a statistical or film pov? This exists for the NFL in spades but not seeing much out there for the mlb draft.

    Sounds about right. I was surprised to see him jumped over Dunedin, but that might be just for roster reasons.

    If Hiura is a 60 FV, that would be equivalent to Bichette. Bichette playes a more premium position and is younger, but still close enough. I wonder if we would do this trade for Bichette and Ray.

    The fangraphs write up on Ray is not encouraging. Hiura looks good though. This seems light for the jays.

    Jansen has been looking better to me lately. His at bats at the start of the season looked terrible but now I feel like he's hanging in there better and swinging with more authority. He might break out a little soon.

    I just got in and realized it was the mother's day game. My wife hates all the pink bats and hats and stuff, so it's always a blast to watch this game with her..lol.

    I can't remember where I read it but it was somewhere on fangraphs, but they said that the jays were basically shooting for average everyday players (50 FV) guys on the cheap and then they would try to supplement that with high end prospects... and then finally free agents. So, they aren't actually looking for high upside guys. Like you, I see how the theory makes sense.. but so far not looking great. But, it only takes a few and we are in business.

    I'm antsy to get tickets (as the good ones seem to sell out soon) and looking for educated guesses. They haven't announced yet to my knowledge. At least it isn't on their site. Edit: Actually, I'm an idiot. The roster isn't populated because the draft hasn't happened yet?

    Even though I disagree with her on some issues, didn’t she get screwed? She said she would do it bad as a joke and they thought it was funny too, and then threw her under the bus after?

    The Padres fangraphs list is out and goes 55 deep! If they are in playoff contention, it would be a great spot to get value for stroman, sanchez..

    I'm going back to Lowes tomorrow albeit in new west. There's one particular one I want and they have it cheaper than amazon. No where else seems to sell it. My original plan was to buy something really cheap on craigslist but I did way too much research and now I NEED to have a particular one...lol.

    I don't know that well tbh. I only go to either very occasionally. The Home Depot I went to had actual employees walking around though which is all I'm judging this on. If you are a more manly man than I, you probably know better lol.
