  1. Yea I added both Bastardo and Miles to that list as depth options but they will have to be returned if they don't make the roster. Both likely won't unless they begin the year on IL. But crazy things can happen in Spring.
  2. We probably don’t need him but Pete Fairbanks at a good price would be nice add to give us a super deep Bullpen. And someone else with closing experience if Hoffman falters. Hoffman Fairbanks Rogers Varland Garcia Fluharty Fisher Lauer This is your pen and you got guys like Little, Bastardo, Bruihl, Lee, Miles, Nance, and Schultz on the outside looking in. Insane depth.
  3. Mike Marshall's record of 106 games in 1974 for the first time is in jeopardy. Pedro Feliciano has the modern day record or 92 in 2008. Both Rogers and Varland may challenge!
  4. Yea it’s exciting. It’s a really strong group of relievers. The best pitching depth that I can personally remember.
  5. They still are considered the favourites for Imai. And if they bring back Bellinger I would say they had a good off-season. Hopefully they aren’t in on Tucker. Feels like it’s between us and the Dodgers again.
  6. Jay’s cornering the market on them. Acquired 2 in one day! Although Lee is not quite from down under
  7. That is quite the list to be apart of.
  8. It’s expensive but this is what happens when the top options go and the market scrambles to pick up the best remaining options. He is very very good though just isn’t as sexy because he doesn’t throw 98
  9. Yea I like that move as well 2 options and plenty of control. Will probably be up and down all year
  10. I like how this franchise is really buying into the different look philosophy. They value velocity and swing and miss. But know the value of bringing in someone like Rogers who gets very weak contact and ground ball contact while coming from such a extreme unique angle. As someone already posted trying to adjust to Rogers after facing Yesavage will be a massive challenge in itself.
  11. They probably offered him that. He was pretty adamant he preferred Atlanta.
  12. Really f*** with them by going to Pete Fairbanks after
  13. Never disrespect todd like that. A Board Legend.
  14. I don’t question him being good. He’s very good. He’s also 35 and doesn’t miss bats at the rate of other elite options. I don’t think it will be a bad deal for the Braves. At 45M over 3 years I would prefer our resources get invested elsewhere. I feel like you could bring in 2 quality relievers for under 15 combined.
  15. Only concerns I have with Yimi is health. He seems to take a couple trips to the IL every year. Now that the Bullpen actually has some decent depth they shouldn’t push him at all this Season. No back to back outings. Limit him to 3 times per week. Whatever keeps him healthier because he’s quite good when he is.
  16. If other teams want to do thar more power to them. I’n glad our front office doesn’t get in on that market. Unless it’s for someone truly elite it’s a big risk. Such a volatile position.
  17. A Rogers and Fairbanks combo could be intriguing. Probably come in less combined than Suarez as well AAV. Talk about 2 pitchers that come from dramatically different arm angles.
  18. Really glad the Jays passed on Suarez at the number. There’s like 3 relievers in Baseball that deserve to make 15+ million a year and he’s not one of them. If you’re not Josh Hader, Edwin Diaz, or Mason Miller you’re not worth that money.
  19. Today would be a great day to make Kyle Tucker a Blue Jay.
  20. In my opinion you guys are the ones making a huge fuss. I just said he would look get in a Mets uniform! I will stand by that. I would rather they play Lukes over him.
  21. Everyone wanted Springer gone lol. Even our media wanted him released in Spring. What he did last Season was incredible. And credit to him for the work he put in and not abandoning that plan when he didn’t get results during Spring. Moving Santander hinges more on if they sign Tucker. Where does he play if RF and DH is occupied. Do they put him in LF or would they rather play Lukes and Scheneider. It’s just something to think about. He would be an expensive bench bat.
  22. I never wanted Varsho gone for nothing. He was still cheap with team control. Anthony Santander is in a completely different situation. Most teams would probably view him as a negative value player due to his contract.
  23. It’s been a long time actually. And the thing about Varsho he adds value in multiple areas of the game. Yes he’s frustrating at the plate. But often makes it up with his glove. Anthony Santander is as one dimensional as they come. Please stop glazing a 1 WAR player or ever compare him to a player that put up 3 WAR in his sleep.
  24. Sometimes cope is all you have Spanky. Just saying Santander would be nice pivot option for the Mets. Maybe get in on the Berrios business as well. Jays send them a nice fat cheque and we call it a day.
