    I agree. Maybe that 94-97 becomes 96-99 and his secondaries become even more polished. That seems more predictable with our performance centre than the otherworldly improvement than Teidemann had.

    You're nuts, he absolutely has to improve it. He'll hit .150 in the majors in his current form. You need to keep in mind he doesn't walk much as well, so he needs to hit like .270 just to get an OBP over .300 lol.

    Spot on, I'd do that. Bo + Gurriel + Moreno + 1 of Zuleta/Frasso That should beat every possible offer out there. This also keeps both Groshans and Martinez with the hope that 1 of them takes over for Chapman in the future.

    Hilariously, the Venn diagram is perfect too, because Gabby Martinez is like a perfect blend in skill of the other 2. He has Power, but not as much as Orelvis, and has bat to ball skills, but not as great as Moreno. And he's an OF, which makes him unique enough, compared to the SS/3B in Orelvis and C/3B in Moreno. It's literally perfect lol.

    Yep. None of us are in that clubhouse, bit the body language in the dugout and comments he gives in interviews definitely gives off the impression that he doesn't give much weight to the word "stakes".

    I think we've seen enough with him to know it's, more often than not, the former.

    Probably muzzled. Barker knows him well and said he's a fantastic talker and always holds his players accountable. So if that wasn't happening, then he was muzzled, because it's out of character.

    I think we all see and agree with that, but it remains to be seen if that was Charlie's call or the FO. We will be able to tell now with Schneider running things.

    Good call. That will be important to pay attention too. I would also say the short leash on SPs would be something to pay attention to. Maybe Schneider rides them longer to try and give the BP a break. That would be a good point that the manager has authority over that as well.

    Yep 100%. It's fine if they get rid of Atkins because of the major league level decisions, but Shapiro has to stay.
