  1. I did see him hit 95 once in the Yankees start, so I'm guessing it was the 4-seamer. I think the velo is there, he's just not using it yet.
  2. Definitely. It would make sense to bring it out the 3rd time through an order to mess with the hitters' timing. I really think he should use it, specifically in the playoffs when bat-speed tends to slow.
  3. Wow great ball IQ Goins! Well done!
  4. An elevated max effort 4-seamer every now and then with an 0-2 count would probably provide another strikeout pitch imho.
  5. I wish Stro would mix in his 4-seamer more often. He was topping out at 96 on it last year! Nice K!!
  6. I posted this a few pages back but I think it faded into the excitement of the servers rebooting. I was thinking about 2016, namely the rotation, and was talking with my brother about potential trades AA could make in the off-season to rectify it. My main target would be Carlos Carrasco. His peripherals are fantastic and his contract provides excellent WAR value, as you all know I'm sure. Near the trade deadline, rumours seemed to indicate that a Hoffman, Norris, Pompey package nearly got it done, but ultimately was rejected because they wanted Stro, possibly in place of Hoff? Well, given that they were our 3 best prospects at the time, but, debatably, not major league ready yet, at that point, what could Alex offer to maybe get it done? Would it take a similar package to what landed JD? I would offer Revere, Sanchez, Hutch, and Greene. Do you guys think that would do it, or would selling high on Pillar (in place of Revere, with his 4 WAR) and adding Cola help get it done? If they laugh this off, what do you gents think it would take?
  7. Congrats to the team today, and thank you Cubs! Royals can #FYSMC. I'm new here, but not a casual, I assure you lol. 8. Hey everybody, I've been a lurker for a few years now, and decided maybe it's time to finally join up! I'm still a bit of a novice on stats like FIP, xFIP, RAR, etc but I understand them decently, and am trying to become a sponge and soak up as much knowledge as possible! I'm a bit of an optimist, possibly like a Bizarro Trouba lol, but I will try and tone it down a bit to not sound like a total homer. Anyways, pleasure to meet you all!
