  1. Are they shifting for him? I know hits are finding holes. But I haven't paid attention to see if it's because of the shift.
  2. Berrios is sooooo inconsistent ughhhh.
  3. Yep. He should be 7-9 in the line-up 100% right now.
  4. I would. The results haven't shown that type of dominance yet. Let's wait and see. As the other poster posted, Manoah came out of College and moved very quickly. Frasso was drafted out of college in the COVID year and missed the next season due to TJS. He's not the typical 23/24 year old. He was in the pitching lab and look at the results on Fangraphs.
  5. I would not be surprised to see him dominate AA for them. From what I saw when I watched him earlier this year, he'll be in their rotation, if there's room, as soon as 2023.
  6. There needs to be a lineup shake-up. Bo should be hitting 7th next game and stay there until he hits his way up to deserve 4th.
  7. Absolutely. It's ******** analysis because he's no longer in our system. I watched 3 or so of his starts this season, and he looked unhittable like he would easily dominate AA right now.
  8. I explained my thoughts above, but, in short, I buy into the swing and miss of Iglesias continuing, and am selling the lack-there-of with White. Not sure if you remember but how many starts did you watch of his? I checked out 2 of his large strikeout performances. He looked in control and, mechanically, was mostly alright from what I saw.
  9. We'll see. If the Dodgers start him in AA and he continues his dominance, watch and see where he ends up on Top 100 lists. I won't be surprised, is all I'm saying. I've watched a few of his starts. He's not tossing hittable pitches or balls and getting whiffs because LOL Single A sucks. He's got control and some pitchability along with the stuff. Iglesias has a s*** contract, pending he is what he is this season. I'm not convinced of that. That said, I'd still be upset, but at least Iglesias has no issue missing bats. The same can't be said for White.
  10. I'd be a lot less upset if Frasso+ landed us Thor & Iglesias. I'd still be disappointed, but this trade is kind of wack.
  11. I have. I have watched 2-3 starts on the MILB app, and he had control of 3-4 pitches (Sinker, 4SM, CH & CV) and got whiffs. I didn't see any reliever risk in the starts I watched. He could have looked terrible in the other starts, sure, but the FG page doesn't reflect that. Instead, he looks like a guy who could easily be dominating AA right now and maybe AAA.
  12. How about instead of reading his Fangraphs FV, you look at the results he's putting up on his FG page and read up on his stuff? Maybe you'll learn a thing or two. This is not Kendall Williams.
  13. Yep, it's horseshit. Atkins should lose his job this offseason if we don't make a run. If you're going to give up Frasso, you better give up more than that and get something significant to put us over the hump in the post-season. White, as many have mentioned, is Strip 2.0. This return is a nothing burger and we lose a future Top 50-100 prospect, and potentially higher, if the results keep going. Frasso throws Upper 90s with great control and great secondaries, and, most importantly, misses a ton of bats.
  14. Yep, not a fan of this. He was going to be Top 100 by end of the season guaranteed.
  15. Is this guy verified?
  16. He's great game calling with our pitching staff, some of which have large varying results depending on who's calling the game (Gausman, Berrios, Kikuchi).
  17. Trade Jansen in the offseason after he's completed his season. He's still got an OPS north of .900. Ride it out and hope it finishes above .800 so you can trade him for a haul.
  18. We don't need Contreras. I would rather lessen the return by removing him. We could target Happ & Smyly for Orelvis Martinez (guessing the price is that high and Martinez seems like a great choice to sell now before his prospect ranking goes down with the Ks) Then we could grab Iglesias from the As and eat all the money for a midling Top 15-20 prospect on our system like Trent Palmer.
  19. Hmmmm, what did his stuff look like? Was it flukey?
  20. Thanks. I thought 4pm was the deadline.
  21. 30 minutes left, let's hope we land Thor & Iglesias.
  22. No thanks to Gallo, that historical high K% and low BABIP scares me.
  23. Yep I agree. I overreacted in my initial post, but, it's true, Groshans is a heavy declining asset like Martin & SWR were, and Bass is really having an under-the-radar, great season. Pop is definitely interesting with the velo and movement and the Top 30 slider. With the right development and pitch mix, he could be special.
  24. If we land Thor & Iglesias, the BP looks even better. Bullpen CL: Romano SU1: Iglesias SU2: Bass MR1: Garcia MR2: Mayza MR3: Cimber MR4: Pop LR: Kikuchi Rotation 1. Manoah 2. Gausman 3. Berrios 4. Stripling 5. Thor
  25. We better land Thor & Iglesias now and eat all the money for a smaller return.
