    Alright. I'll defer to your expertise. I just don't see enough elite offensive talent here yet. One or two guys? That's great. But I'm talking about depth of great talent like the true powerhouses have. That isn't a year or two away.

    I'm guessing he means Mark Grace style. Not huge power but a great "Professional Hitter" with lots of doubles, lots of walks, and minimal strikeouts.

    The smaller market teams are probably hurt most by this. They can't build via free agency. Drafting and development is really all they have and now they're being limited. Not a huge handicap but it is making it harder for them.

    I'm fine with the players but ya, that term is pretty bad. I guess that's a problem for years from today though. Not breaking up the core is pretty bad too. It's been reported/speculated by the Score that Mitch wouldn't waive. No idea if there's truth to it, but regardless, there shouldn't be much appetite for running it back...yet here we are apparently. Hopefully, a stronger defensive core will make a difference and Woll can stay healthy and become what we all hope he can be. That might make enough of a difference to start winning some of those 2-1 games. Too much "if" and "hope" though for my liking. We'll see what happens. Still plenty of off-season left for more tinkering.
