I think there's a greater than 0% chance that both of these teams find a way to lose tomorrow night.

Whoever loses game 7 will be in shambles. If the Leafs lose, heads will roll, (Shanny, Keefe & coaching staff, Marner, etc). If Boston loses, that will be 7 straight potential clinching games that they will have lost in a row, including two 3-1 series leads blown in a row (never done before in North American sports). It's gonna be a bad scene for one of these organizations.

They can't use him as a crutch when he's out of the lineup. They know their on their own and need to step it up. Imagine if they'd have that approach with him lurking around on the ice also.

I understand that. It just always sounds wrong uses the word 'regression' for something positive. Just a pet peeve. I prefer reversion to the mean, rather than regression to the mean. -

It really is. Edmundson, as far as I know, is the only player on the roster with any championship pedigree. They need some actual winners here. This current cast of characters just don't know how to get it done.

Couldn't get a big save, big guys couldn't elevate their game when it matters, special teams not good enough. You can apply these criticisms to the Leafs playoff performances for pretty much most of the past 8 years.
