    Ya. It certainly looks like they have some individual pieces that could be very useful longer term. That said, they're playing like individuals. Defensively abysmal overall. They'll need to really commit to that part of their game if they want to take any meaningful steps forward over the next couple of seasons.

    Unless it's a promotion to a made up VP position or a President roll have we ever seen a GM re-assigned to something lateral or a supposed demotion (scouting)? I think Atkins is gone altogether.

    Even if none of them do, it was still the right move. What happens now is on the players and the development staff.
