  1. He was a 28th overall, not a top 3 pick. We've selected guys earlier than 28th that have never had a sniff of the majors. He's hardly the biggest bust in the history of the Blue Jays.
  2. No sane person would've given up on RT that soon.
  3. His potential is elite starter. He'll never come close to it. Best case for him is an elite closer.
  4. This has to be one of the worst seasons (across all facets of the organization) that this team has ever had. Just a complete disaster
  5. They really let him dictate where he'd play from early on. Right off the bat he said, "Juego en tercera base", cause he'd never say it in English.
  6. He must really need those pennies
  7. Asset management. This organization can never get max return on an asset that they are primed to move
  8. If that's what it takes to keep him pitching
  9. So nothing wrong that anyone can find, yet he can't stay on the mound
  10. D1 Baseball also showing that the Jays have signed Javen Coleman as well but I don't see anything on X that confirms that yet.
  11. ...or...Fans enjoy following the journey. They like seeing prospects progress...and the ones that don't, enjoy the analysis that comes along with determining why they don't. Some fans love the scouting, drafting, developing aspects of sports. Just because you find it a waste of your time, doesn't mean the rest of us do. We all find different things captivating. Life would be pretty boring if we didn't.
  12. Ditch the slot...what other North American league has these types of rules for their drafts...and don't get me started on the IFA process.
  13. I'll never understand why MLB won't open up all draft picks for trade.
