  1. Yeaah hero, cos it's about being 11-0. It's about playing pro ball and making the plays you should be making. Not duffng on a ball that instead of getting you out of the inning, ends up costing you a few runs and being the difference in the game. You can't continually make these errors on a consistent basis and expect to compete is all I'm saying
  2. Every single game, someone makes an error and it ends up costing us.I wonder at what point someone takes charge and makes them hold each other responsible. This is getting kinda amateurish to watch in how repetitive it is. If it isn't the bullpen, it's an error that just flat out shouldn't happen on na game in and game out basis
  3. seriously can't even hit a f***ing fly ball to bring in a run? How long is this going to last with this f***ing guy?
  4. wtg Ryan, every game somebody different is making a crucial error his D has been nowhere near the level it was last yea, I've seen as much bad D from him this year as I did all last year or at least it seems that way
  5. The bright side in this start was that although he was a bit wild, he still came out of it with a quality start and if not for his own error, he gives up 1 run over 6. When a pitcher struggles without his best stuff and still competes to keep his team in the game, that says a lot about him moving forward. Still, can't have your starters throwing 90 plus pitches through 6. He saves himself a pitch or 2 an inning and he's out there to get himself through 7 and lessens the need to have cecil the clown come out and blow it up. Ultimately, this team needs another big arm like Sanchez to take his place in the bull pen. Brett and Drew have already lost 3 between them.
  6. One more 20 pitch inning without a run and it's time to change the channel. Just way too painful to watch
  7. That was a major league hook. He's throwing strikes and he's nasty!!
  8. It's my nickname for him you willnot, don't let it ruin your day
  9. His change is a work in progress. But the good thing is that apparently him and STRO are good friends and he's been helping sanchez out as much as he can. The thing for me is that Sanchez throw strikes consistently with his fastball and that he mixes in his curve and change quite a bit more. I've seen him hit hard a few times simply because he's throwing that fastball way too often. But I've chirped it over and over again that when Aaron keeps his walk rate down, his stuff is more than good enough to keep his team I games and throw quality starts. But what I'm aching to see is the confidence and hopefully that comes with consistency with his secondary pitches. I'm one of the few here who thinks he has the ceiling to be an ace and a full year experience with STRO by his side can go a long way to giving him the foundation he needs to start down that road. He's 23 and if he develops the way I think he's going to, the combo of him STRO and Estrada can be pretty f***ing devastating, especially come playoff time.
  10. I agree somewhat, but he did not pitch well neither for sure. He set the table by a few walks at the bottom of the order and giving up solid hits to guys like Castillio. Like I said, overall RA is going to have one of these once in a while like everyone else. But he;s more than serviceable and not a scrub by any means
  11. Yah, a few were, but both shaw and boggies doubles were line drives down the lines and castillio hammered his off the wall. That error really killed him and threw him off his game I think
  12. Where is RA gone, I was looking forward to his walk, double hammered off the wall and then Thole looking like a five year old trying to catch flies. There is two hours of my life I will never get back. Oh well, at least it is over and out of the way and hopefully we can get back to some decent starts from him. RA is nowhere near this bad on a regular basis
  13. EIGHT Extra base hits in 5 innings and a throwing error that lead DIRECTLY to two runs scoring that otherwise would not have scored....meow
  14. Leave him in there!! It's not like it's obvious that the patterns keep repeating themselves and he's setting himself up to get rocked. I know it's really early in the season but I've laughed out loud so many times, like I did just now, that it's getting embarrassing. Get him out of the fukking game already! 7 runs in 4 and a third and the stiff is still in the god damned game?
  15. 2-2 to the rays. disgusting
  16. Team needs to score some runs FFS. TB's starters all basically averaged 20 pitches per inning and got bailed out by everyone and their grandmother striking out
  17. They're running up pitch counts on all the starters and that usually computes to a lot of runs.....just not for us so far
  18. different strike zone for both teams tonight. I wonder who in T.B stuffed this as,s sniffers pockets
  19. Way to minimize the damage Happ
  20. It's always been there. He's always had a well above average curve and fastball. Developing another pitch with the help of Stroman will only make him better. The problem hasn't been with Sanchez, it's been with the legions of know it alls around here who don't seem to realize that he's only 23 years old with limited MLB experience. Of course's he's going to repeat this start and much better. His stuff dictates that if he can gain some sort of command, he's going to get the better of his opponent 9 times out of ten
  21. I've been saying all along, once aaron finds a pitch to keep hitters off his fastball, he has the potential to be devastaring. The combo of him and Stro is going to be lethal
