  1. That's what u get when you have second and third with nobody out and your big hitters up....and they fall flat on their faces. If you can't execute, you don't deserve to win in pro ball. You simply can't keep coming up in those situations and come up empty. One hit over 8 innings to end up with a no decision, that's pathetic. Even worse, 0-11 with RISP? Come on already, play like men
  2. His learning curve is growing and fast. He's already realized he doesn't need to throw 98 to get hitters out. I really love what I've seen from Aaron so far this year. Now time will tell if he can sustain it
  3. This kid is getting better with every start. With some bullpen help, could easily be 8 or 9-1
  4. The thing that gives me the most hope is that other than Stroman, who just struggling right now, our SP shut down the hottest offense in baseball. Just goes to show you that good pitching and defense wins out almost every time. We could have easily swept them with a decent tart from Stroman and some execution from our hitters. Twice I remember that we failed to score a runner from third with nobody out. Can't win em all but 9-3 against division opponents is pretty f***in' sick
  5. LMFAO, never heard that one before but it literally made me laugh right the f*** out loud!
  6. Is that why he has the second best ground ball percentage? Because everything is up? That makes a shitload of sense!!!! I've loved Sanchez for a long time now and I've always felt he will develop into a front line pitcher. Don't get me wrong, he has a long way to go, but even with how raw he still is, he's still doing well at this level against major league hitting. He needs to develop a change that he can slow down to about 86-87mph and once he harnesses that? He can easily be a number 1 for a lot of teams. People tend to forget that he's still only turning 24 next month and although I understand peoples impatience with his walk rate, the fact still remains that he has that out pitch with that sinker. His curveball is developing nicely and he's gaining confidence with it and hopefully he does the same with his change. Right now, other than Estrada, he's out pitching everyone else to this point and I think he's going to get a lot better. Just a shame we didn't keep Noah... Having him in our rotation right now and take out Dickey?
  7. Yep, just keep winning these series! That would have been a crying shame if Estrada didn't come away with that win. But hey, a win is a win!
  8. Yeah, what a deal. Especially the stopper he was last year in the playoffs during those elimination games.....he's a steal for the money and been nothing but stellar
  9. Marco has turned into not only the ace of this staff but an ace period. Who would have thought? A journeyman 2nd tier bullpen guy traded for a gilligan like adam lind. Another great trade
  10. Martin is trash, plain and simple. That ball was there way before the runner was and martin should have had him easily. Gibby's no better, I mean, letting your starter scored on for five consecutive innings? How long til it takes you to realize he's just not on today? What a s*** show
  11. How can we all see it coming but gibby can't? Is this hillbilly really that f***ing dense?
  12. whew, get him out now while you can
  13. Bust him inside with a god dmaned fastball instead of leaving everything out over the plate
  14. Wow, marcus has been getting bombed lately
  15. So many better ways they could've used the money they wasted on Martin. What a joke this guy has turned out to be
  16. Amazing how these hitters can bail out struggling pitchers. Absolutely no excuse for not scoring with a runner at third and nobody out. A good recipe to lose a game
  17. If he'd have put another guy on, I would have been ok with Osuna, but if it were me, I'd have left Biagini to finish his own job. Oh well, it's over now and it worked out well considering it was a quick AB
  18. Whew a 2 pitch AB. If he has a decent 9th, he can easily pitch tomorrow. I'm just of the mindeset that if you've given the 8th inning to a guy, you don't take him out for your closer with the tying run on deck. But that's just me
  19. Exactly, what a bonehead move this is
