  1. You remind me of the chronic masturbater on SOA.........all I read from that drivel is "I accept that."
  2. I just call them the WHO(rioles). A wee bit immature, but to be honest, they do behave like the dime bag crack who%% they are. They talked a lot of smack earlier this year about where we would be this time of year and that was basically us looking up in the standings at them. Now, instead of giving credit where credit is due, they're still acting like fools. They suck ass and their city reeks of it too.
  3. Yeah, he's been lights out in the pen and I guess screwing with something like that would be pretty dumb. Losing Cecil out there and leaving Loup as our only lefty option is pretty scary at this point. It just seems like any option is better than throwing Hutch or Sanchez out there in important games such as the ones we're playing now. Hopefully they'll just keep scoring like they have been when Hutch starts.
  4. That's a sick looking pen. Cecil or Hendriks to the rotation if STRO can't be stretched out in time? Guess they'd have to be stretched out a bit too, so I think it's a decision that got to be made pretty quickly right around the time Stro stars throwing. Amazing the team that has been put together with it's most talented pitching piece out of the mix. If he was healthy now, this team would be collectively shoving it's schlong in the WHO(rioles) mouths.
  5. I'm fine with Estrada at this point. He rarely gets beat up and although he appears to be more hittable than he is, I like what he has shown thus far. I LOVE STRO tho, and can't wait to see him on that mound again. The kid is a gamer and even if it's only for 3 IP to build him up over a few starts, I'd rather that than watch Hutch implode in games where his team scores him 8 or more runs, yet we still have to sweat him since he can barely get through 5. I know he's still young and relatively inexperienced and that he's definitely a serviceable 4 or 5 down the road, but right now, I'm nervous to watch him pitch in any game he starts. Is Hendriks not available to be stretched out? I love his value in the pen, but is his value as a starter more or less? Does he lose some of that velocity as a starter? I'd sure prefer him over Hutch or Sanchez at this point for sure
  6. With all due respect, it's kind of hard not to as a casual fan. He has some of the best movement in baseball and the potential for him to be a front end guy is there. He induces a lot of weak contact when he's not walking every second hitter. Aside from his last start against Houston, there were several occasions against the red sox and the WHO(rioles) where he walked the bases loaded and got himself out of it by simply finding the zone and inducing weak ground ball double plays. With that said, do I want any guy at this level starting any game who has a walk rate over 5 per 9IP? Fack no, especially not at this critical juncture of the season. But my take on Sanchez is that he is still very young. His minor league numbers show the same lack of control. BUT, any sensible baseball observer has to admit that if this kid simply learns his release point, he will be a dominant front end starter. I understand that's easier said than done, especially since the only sign he's shown whatsoever is in a limited sample size in our pen. But ten times out of ten, I take him over Hutch to stay on this team long term. But having either of them start at this point is just a "hell no" for me.
  7. Hutch is a serviceable number 5 IMO, but down the stretch in important games, I don't want to see him out there period. He's failed numerous times to complete 5, even when his team is mashing and giving him huge run support. From here on out, every game matters and I don't want to see him or Sanchez out there to start a game. Sanchez and his walk rate are just too risky, as is Hutch's lack of fastball command. Either guy is at risk of implosion at any time and with less than 60 games left, I think we need guys who can keep us in games. I really like Sanchez and his movement. But his lack of command is maddening and downright laughable. He doesn't seem to have that problem in limited sample size this year and last, so his value in the pen at this point is almost and automatic indicator that he's right where he should be.
