  1. Yeah okay I know he won't hit at a 60 home run pace but this dude's never even hit 30.
  2. Little might actually be uncatchable when it comes to prop betting on his own pitches.
  3. Bottom line is there must be some neurological test he keeps failing. It's encouraging that he's taking part in baseball activities and that he feels normal but it's discouraging that he obviously keeps failing something. Concussion recovery isn't always a straight line. You can feel fine but your brain still isn't where it should be, also symptoms can disappear and then suddenly return. Here's hoping this passes soon
  4. That's a good observation. Yeah I don't think anybody is sold yet. And honestly, it would take a lot for me to pick this guy over Schneider on the major league roster.
  5. France is is such an odd fit. But the dude has sort of been raking since he's been here. Maybe they figured something out. Maybe it's just animal spirits that will dissipate shortly. It would be nice if he created a good problem.
  6. If he's not playing several days after his IL stint has lapsed, especially after initially sending him to Buffalo with the expectation that he would play, it's because he's failing the protocols. That's not cautionary, that's concerning.
  7. Just start getting some wins damn it. Too many L's lately.
  8. I know nothing, I have read no stories but I'm just going to assume that Ohtani's a piece of s*** and hope they find some way to cancel him from Major League baseball in a way that still somehow forces the Dodgers to be on the hook for his contract. I don't know if any of that is possible but hopefully there's a way.
  9. Yimi, yes, Sandlin can stay as far away as possible. I'd rather any of the guys we have now over him.
  10. I have no concern about Schneider's bullpen management, I have more concern about bullpen personnel. A lot of talent mixed with a lot of variability and we just have to hope that enough guys are on their game enough of the time. I'll be interested to see how Yesavage factors into the mix.
  11. People just got to understand this is a high variability bullpen. Big arms with great stuff but a lot of inconsistency built in. There's only so much a manager can do to navigate that game after game. There's only a certain amount of lights out guys in the league and we ain't got none of them.
  12. The only atrocities I remember in the playoffs are important players failing to do s***. I'm not a big manager guy one way or the other, they could fire him tomorrow or they can give him a 5-year contract tomorrow and I would be indifferent, but I've largely agreed with his bullpen management this year. Players have to do their job. If the players aren't good or consistent enough, the front office needs to do their job. We have inconsistent players in the bullpen. That's going to be our life from here until the end of the playoffs.
  13. Well that was an interesting series. I think the Dodgers clearly outclassed us. I don't care what their record is, obviously injuries have been an issue but you can see their pedigree. We scratched and clawed for a win. If this team is going to have a chance to do absolutely anything, Hoffman is going to have to be an important part of that. Too many excuses have been made this year for this guy, he needs to step the f*** up and stop being a f***ing clown. His stuff is too good for this kind of nonsense.
  14. Well gee, yeah, I would hope with an outrageous payroll they might be pretty good.
  15. That will truly be a test of just how real he is.
  16. Okay, I'm fine with that especially given our options, I'm just saying there was a reason they pulled back on him a little bit.
