    What a wild season the Red Sox have had. In the weeks after the Dever's trade, there was not an organization that was under more pressure. People hated the trade, they were losing a ton of games. Looked like they were headed towards another lost season. Now they can legitimately come out of the AL. 162 is a long season.

    This is pretty much the deepest team we've had this year. Vladdy or not, we got dominated by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

    So Lauer goes to the bullpen for now. Spineless, gutless move. Of course they're going to favour the guy who's under contract for another couple of years instead of what's actually best for this team.
