    Well I will say this, from a purely neutral perspective, the races are real good in the AL right now. Every division is in doubt, the wild card is in doubt, just when we thought we knew all the answers, baseball changed all the questions.

    You used a statistic that includes a heavy dose of DEFENSE to suggest that we have the best OFFENSE in baseball because you knew you couldn't stick just to the offensive ones. But you were so desperate as you often are to be right that you proved yourself AGAIN to be wrong. 🤡 Good day indeed lol

    That's some cherry picking. This is not the best offense in baseball, it's top 5, not the best.

    They can't, they're going to need somebody else eventually. If they clinch they have options from the minors, they may just call up Manoah, otherwise it's a bullpen game in one of the most important games of the season.

    Well he's played over 40 postseason games in Cleveland, so it's not like he lost anything not going to the Blue Jays. He may yet play more postseason games than the Blue Jays this year lol

    I reckon we still need one or two more wins from Baltimore. I have no faith that the White Sox will win a game at Yankees stadium.

    Yeah this was kind of predictable, the first shoe to drop. Likely means he doesn't pitch in the postseason either. Lauer has a leg up. The third spot in the rotation is Yesavage's to lose at this point.

    Guardians only two back in the loss column. It's starting to get real for the Tigers here. Guardians also on Boston's tail. If they can hang on long enough, Boston and Detroit play each other in the final series of the season. Cleveland can make that series very very very interesting.

    A lot of reliance on Bieber tomorrow. We need the ace to show us he's an ace.

    Magic number down to five lol. Thank you Orioles, today was one of the games you felt they had the pitching advantage so if they didn't win today the panic would have been palpable. Offense has been utter dog s*** the last little while for us. Pitching stunk today, the back end starters haven't had great starts, but the offense looks absolutely lifeless right now.

    Trey would basically have to implode to not be part of the postseason rotation at this point. The moment they put him into the starting rotation they were telling us it's an audition and it is. They just don't trust the back three in their rotation and the last few days have given them plenty of reason for pause.

    It's crazy because we've all seen the home runs we've all seen the deep fly balls game after game and people were just like nah it's good. People were trying way too hard to convince themselves that Max is something that he's not anymore. I mean he's not THIS bad. It's just an especially bad inning but he's average at this point.

    I've been told that the home runs are not a concern and Max is a lock for the postseason rotation by those that know so much better.

    The series sets up well for us...on paper. But we're one bad series away from panic land. I reckon we will need some help from the Orioles down the stretch.

    🙄 That's embarrassing that his own manager had to check in to make sure he wasn't hurt because of how pathetic that home run trot was. Idiot needs to not worry about having beef with AAA pitchers or whatever the f***. Nothing productive can come of it.

    Would he be playing the field if he had a leg injury? I don't know, I hope there's some other explanation beyond just douchebaggery.

    I'm going to hope and assume that's not it because if it is f*** him. He's not good enough to justify the hassle.

    A lot of coping happening right now. Our offense has looked largely crappy lately, that's a fact. I don't want to hear about opposition pitching. I promise you the opposition pitching we're about to face in a couple of weeks is tougher. Guerrero has not been stepping up in the absence of Bo. The division is still in pretty good shape, but it's not over and these guys need to lock in.

    How hard is it to throw fastballs high and outside to that kid?

    Honestly unless Santander starts to look a lot better at the plate, I may roster him but I don't put him in the starting lineup. He's essentially started his spring training in the middle of September, and so far he looks like it. He literally has zero value except for power and he hurts our defense especially if Bo is a DH. As a bench option he's a nice pinch hit weapon late in a game where we're trailing, but unless he starts to look a lot better real fast I'd rather have players that have been doing it on a daily basis for us in the starting lineup.

    Well he's not a crafty junk throwing lefty, so we definitely have a chance.
