  1. You need people like me so you can point your f***ing fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what's that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy!
  2. I really want him back, but I do have the same concern that while we're giving him rope to get into a groove we're taking someone out of the lineup that may be more effective in the short term. It's tough enough to find playing time for everybody. I think Davis Schneider should be an everyday player but even that's hard to accommodate right now. I think it's a risk worth taking. Even if Santander doesn't find his groove enough to be a starter, having that bat available to pinch hit in the postseason would be nice to have. Edit: I don't think he would bat near the top of the lineup. Too many quality options already to fill the top five or six in the lineup. He would have to be maybe in the seven hole. Six at the highest.
  3. They clearly did. It also tells you who they see as their top three right now.
  4. You know what's even cooler? Watching him pitch against anyone else.
  5. Well that's most people's top three in the rotation if the playoffs began today, so this will be a hell of a test for those three against the best team in baseball.
  6. We're eager to know about your results, we all care very deeply about your notes.
  7. Pfft...sure it is. I'd put Springer and Bo ahead of Vlad.
  8. If Hoffman blows this, it may overload this forum.
  9. The holes in Barger's swing have become more and more apparent and are getting exposed. I'm not sure why they're putting him so high in the lineup while he's slumping.
  10. Schneider should be in the lineup every day. He's hitting lefties and he's hitting righties.
  11. I see everyone is doing swell today. The next few weeks are not going to be easy, we have a tough schedule and our competition does not. This stretch was our opportunity to try to separate a little bit more, even with a win today we didn't really take advantage of it.
  12. Unfortunately they're certainly not scaring the opposition.
  13. The problem is we don't have great pitching. We have Bieber and a lot of good pitching. A lot of our starters tend to hit the wall and our relievers tend to leak runs. Deck chairs....Titanic.
  14. Yeah we have a full pen full of s*** options right now except maybe for Nance. But they insist that Schneider make chicken salad out of absolute chicken s***. We're going have to rely on these guys so they either perform or we're doomed.
  15. Yeah he should go to the guys that never give up runs. Who are those guys exactly?
  16. There are no words. This is what we have to go into the postseason with.
  17. This pen just continues to leak runs. We're lucky we're actually not down.
