  1. Honestly unless Santander starts to look a lot better at the plate, I may roster him but I don't put him in the starting lineup. He's essentially started his spring training in the middle of September, and so far he looks like it. He literally has zero value except for power and he hurts our defense especially if Bo is a DH. As a bench option he's a nice pinch hit weapon late in a game where we're trailing, but unless he starts to look a lot better real fast I'd rather have players that have been doing it on a daily basis for us in the starting lineup.
  2. Well he's not a crafty junk throwing lefty, so we definitely have a chance.
  3. The criminally underappreciated Tommy Nance.
  4. That's the real betting man's game here.
  5. Franchise player up first in the ninth. Is there anybody on this board that's excited for it? Does anyone actually think he'll do anything? No, me neither.
  6. I still have no idea what happened. I don't feel like committing any more mental resources to it.
  7. I guess he isn't a pussy. No vagisil required here😉
  8. Gutsy effort by Gausman. Surely he's done for the night.
  9. Every team that faces us in the postseason should find the softest tossing pitchers they have in their organization to start against us. Guys like Fried, Skubal, Crochet, just plays right into our hands.
  10. I don't think they celebrate the playoff spot too much, they celebrate the East for sure. It would be kind of lame to pop champagne on a playoff spot when the Eastern clinch is just around the corner. If they were scratching and clawing for a playoff spot and made the wild card on the final weekend of the season or something like that, that would justify the champagne celebration. Cleveland should pop champagne if they make the postseason. But given the Jays' situation it should only be on the divisional clinch.

  12. Berrios cannot be on the postseason roster. I'm sorry but we've seen enough. He doesn't have put away stuff at this point. His feelings will have to deal with it. Top teams are going to eat him alive. He's not even a viable long guy, I'd rather have Lauer, especially as a lefty.
  13. Houdini escaped. 100 win season still in play🙂.
  14. Loperfido making some poor decisions today.
  15. At this point it's just for lulz to watch them blow the game like this.
  16. I've said before I'm not particularly impressed by them. They don't strike me as a great team. They may have the best pitcher in baseball, they have some power. They have some decent arms. But I'm just not in love with that team.
  17. Okay man relax, put the gun down. He still hits for average he's still capable of putting up nice streaks and hot months. I'm not calling him Russ Adams or anything. But over the course of a season he could and should be even better. Especially in the power department.
  18. Twinkies aren't f***ing around. It's still a game in Minnesota.
