    That never seems to matter to Tampa. They routinely kick our ass no matter how each team is doing. But everything else has been a magic carpet ride since May so maybe the magic carpet goes through Tampa.

    Ultimately almost the perfect weekend, would have preferred Boston to take two of three but it'll do. Let's see if we can finally have any sort of success against Tampa Bay.

    The only thing that can go wrong now is they run up the pitch count on Crochet and attack Boston's pen. Even Chapman looked off against the Yankees yesterday, I'd otherwise think it's a blip but Chapman's a weird guy.

    Things seem to set up well for us to push the Yankees back another big game today. Hopefully baseball doesn't baseball and screw up the plan. Yankees have such a sweetheart schedule it would be nice to have some more breathing room.

    People jumped the gun with him a little too quickly, but his penchant for giving up fly balls and subsequent home runs is something that I'm not sure is going to change. I'm starting to feel more and more like Bassitt might be the number three guy.

    I suppose if everything is locked up for the final few games of the season you could see Manoah called on to make a start just to burn some innings. From that standpoint I think there is a very good chance we see Manoah.
