  1. Not Little, not f***ing Little! Jesus Christ the whole season we see this guy give up base runners. f*** Little.
  2. I have generally not had much problem with Schneider's management this year, I really don't think the manager matters a whole lot over 162 games one way or the other so I pay little mind to it. But in a short series like this, his decisions are of paramount importance, I sense panic in him and I fear the decisions this might lead to.
  3. I really hope we don't have to do this. But if we do have to do this I really really hope it results in a winning effort. Honestly I'm not comfortable on completely relying on Gausman in game 5, they got better swings off of him and this will be the sixth time they've seen him and the second time in a week. I'd much rather have Yesavage be available for bulk innings in a game we would have to win.
  4. 90% catch probability. Myles Straw could have had a coffee and a biscuit and still had time to catch the ball chest high.
  5. You're right that type of thing can psychologically affect how people feel, but I think it's the manner in which the loss happened and the fact that faith in our bullpen right now is, well, not very high. The last two points are obviously related.
  6. Barger too high in the lineup. I know you want to get his confidence back up but this is not the time, Santander and Varsho need to be higher.
  7. Well if it makes you feel any better, baseball sometimes makes no sense at all, and if nothing else we can count on that.
  8. I don't know how much those numbers really mean, he didn't play there a lot this year. Besides the concern with him playing right field and affecting his hitting I think is if he's doing it every day during the season. To jump in here and there during the postseason I don't think would have any great impact.
  9. If he gives us three solid innings tonight I think the entire organization would be dancing.
  10. Realistically we have no chance to win a World Series without our bullpen getting its s*** together anyway. So don't hide from them, put them out there and see if they can get their mojo going. Because if they can't, we're going to end up f***ed anyway.
  11. Can't rule out the Blue Jays doing anything, I would save Gausman and Yesavage for a potential game 5. I think you have a better chance to win with them together then them apart because now you're relying on your bullpen in two games instead of mainly this one. Gausman I'm pretty sure I've heard or read that he doesn't like to pitch on short rest. He prefers long rest. I think you try to win the bullpen game and if it doesn't work, you have a great combination available for game 5.
  12. I don't see them using Gausman today. The Blue Jays don't have their backs against the wall. I think they want to save him for game 5 and have Yesavage available to back him up. That is your true nuclear option and you don't use it unless you need to. I don't think they will do anything reckless with Bieber considering he's coming back from surgery. If everyone in the bullpen just does their job we can use many of the same guys we used yesterday along with Dominguez and Hoffman.
  13. Well, it's baseball, so I fully expect all those guys that got hit around yesterday to dominate today. In all honesty I think there is a lot of rust from our bullpen from having pitched so little over around a 10-day span. I actually think it will benefit many of them to pitch back to back days. Of course it still doesn't mean they're necessarily good enough to win. But we'll see. Got to get our offense going against Shitter.
  14. People just trying to cope. Yankees got some trash relievers, but they also have a few reliable ones right now. More than we do.
  15. It's not over but they say momentum is only as good as your next day's starter...well it's these guys. These bums getting whacked as we speak is our next day's starter😄
  16. Why would we have the advantage? They have some good arms in the pen and they use them and they didn't use their crappy arms. Who do we have that we really trust?
  17. Interesting comparison. I don't know, that one was probably worse given we had a bigger lead. Was also at home. This just feels worse because it's at Yankees stadium.
  18. This is what it feels like to be in the middle of a choke job. And there's no question, that's exactly what this is tonight.
  19. Wait until you see them tomorrow. After the Yankees had a good look at them today.
  20. Well no kidding because we don't have enough quality arms in the pen to cover that many innings. The same arms that will be showing up tomorrow.
