  1. Well I didn't expect anything more from Varsho, but I'll gladly take those two insurance runs.
  2. Great AB's by Biggio and Horwitz
  3. Could be the worst strike call I've seen all year
  4. Green has been great since that mulligan in Colorado.
  5. Dude has great stuff, outstanding command, didn't even really need to use the umpires generosity tonight with the strike zone.
  6. Hopefully he does as a solid against Houston.
  7. Blind squirrel stumbled on a nut.
  8. Expected this one to be a butt clencher and it has been.
  9. They may push him into the '90s tonight. He looks electric out there.
  10. It's not been his most efficient night but he's getting it done. Hopefully he can give us one more inning and then the bullpen takes over.
  11. He's a good one, it's distressing to see for the Yankees.
  12. Who said anything about respect?
  13. Sorry for not being the blind optimist you apparently want me to be. The truth is unfortunate at times. Vlad is out, and that's that. It's not a big deal. Now calm your tits and let's enjoy the game and hope for a Blue Jays win.
  14. If I actually saw any real adjustments in his swing that were leading to him swinging better I might believe in it but he just happened to run into a few more balls, but his approach is the same as the one we've seen for a year and a half. So no I'm not buying it, and look his replacement just hit a double! Anyhow, let's just talk about the game. Vlad is out and your whining won't change that.
  15. Naw that was pretty good. I'm supposed to haven't used your great "lol" comeback yet. The greatest burn of all time. I must really be getting under your skin. Let's get back to the game and stop hijacking this thread.
  16. I don't like you now, I didn't like you before either.
  17. I think people are putting way too much weight on him being in the lineup, we have other capable players, it's not the end of the world, and a few days off might be good for him. We have some tough pitching coming up and we need guys who can put together quality at bats and he really hasn't done that very often.
  18. If only the season were 20 days long... Is this like one of your Varsho "hot streaks"
  19. King got hit when he went into the stretch. Maybe just a fluke.
  20. Because he'll get creamed against good pitching anyhow, probably make one or two stupid base running errors that costs us even if he does get on. Besides, they haven't given him nearly enough days off, maybe if he's forced out for a couple of games, it might do him some good.
  21. Normally Boone is just a primadonna. But he's absolutely correct so far today.
  22. And yet very correct, I can only imagine what that makes you.
  23. Yes suggesting that a player that hasn't provided hardly any value over the course of 150 games might not hurt us by being out of the lineup is equivalent to wishing suicide. Brilliant stuff there.
