    I don't remember if it was that season but I recall a match up between Josh Towers and Miguel Tejada with a runner on third and less than two outs with Towers trying to get the strike out. Tejada managed to get one in the air and drive the runner home, Josh was upset not to have struck him out and Tejada noticed Josh was upset and was insulted that Towers had the audacity to think that he should have struck him out and verbally ripped him a new hole on the way back to the dugout lol. In fairness it was pretty audacious for Towers to think he should be striking out Tejada in a run producing situation.

    What a season, Kevin f***ing Mench ending Doc's Cy Young season, Josh Towers forgetting that he's Josh Towers and becoming our de facto ace. And who can forget Chacin coming out of nowhere to give us 200 innings and then both of those scrubs falling off the face of the planet. Still far more entertaining than what we're watching this year.

    Even those two runs should have been a catch. Anyhow, not even that mad, the offense is what it is and it's not going to change so I really don't have much in the way of expectations.

    Watching Garcia transform into a god this year has been interesting.

    That's the thing, it's the fifth inning, do we really believe we have the bullpen to take this one home? You probably want to try to get as many outs from Kikuchi as you can.

    Damn I actually like him. I don't know how these freaking bans work, will he be back soon?

    I don't know why he's even on the roster. Maybe someday he'll hit a pinch hit home run that wins us a single game and I guess they will feel like that justifies his waste of a roster spot?

    Forget arbitration, we need some trade value from this guy.

    Manager has to stick to the plan. Nothing else matters, it's all about the plan. Any deviations from the plan could conceivably create a tear in the space-time continuum and destroy us all.

    No Jano and Manoah on the mound. Hopefully it's at least competitive. I love watching baseball on a Sunday afternoon so I hope it's not over in the first couple of innings.

    It's not a terrible idea. He does get on base, he doesn't steal, in fact he'll probably run himself into some outs. But he's not really hitting for power so we don't really miss that aspect of his bat in the heart of the lineup. Then have Schneider and Jano somewhere between 2 and 4. At least we can start looking forward to the top of the order from time to time because it's been slim pickings.
