  1. How many batters has Loup faced and how many has he hit? That stat should be of concern for everyone....
  2. Pillars success started last year defensively and escalated right from this spring and has show me he is one of the most aggressive outfielders in the game. I think he is a honest .260-.280 hitter and could streak higher and who actually is much more comfortable at the plate in the last couple months. Trade him are you F---Nuts and replace him with what?
  3. What is the line on EE getting his 40th today and making it a trio?
  4. Why isn't Tulo in the game?
  5. Hope Tulo get going they need him @ SS. Every one else looks pretty solid, ambivalent towards FB but 3rd SP makes me want to drink.......
  6. What I took away from last nights game is Bautista's arm is back and its a laser. Been waiting for that all year. Bull pen will be fine. Need Tulo back in Oct. Three solo HR's but left bases loaded?......need tonight in the win column with Stroman
  7. Like their games against Philly these guys played poorly against the Braves, could be poor attitude when playing sub 500 teams. What was with the Barney sub and Goins to the bench?
  8. It was Pillars ball and he called for it. Super Star Brittle bones should of pealed off like Goins did......
  9. He was pitching to a picked over soft ball team and 4 walks does not look promising except to the NYY.
  10. I am glad you started this as I have been watching this scenario for the last 2-3 weeks and yeah we got to beat the NYY first but the Royals don't have it that easy either and if I ain't wrong it would make for Jays vs wild card which could be the NYY again.
  11. It had to happen sooner or later and I can't go and blame one guy Revere playing volley ball, Bautista squirting a ball out, and Goins trying 3 times to pick a ball of the turf plus leaving runners on base. I thought Hutch did OK the first 4 innings. So a group failure and this team is due for a loss. Get over it and get em today.....
  12. Personally Stroman to the pen use him for long relief and see how thing shape up before you start messing with the starters as you have a month left to work the details out on the starting rotation. I'll go with Gibbon's call.
  13. Salazar is hot right now but has 5+ run support and I wouldn't count on that tonight. I am OK with Colabello as Jays need ball contact and they always can bring in Smoak late in the game. Should be a gooden.........Go Price Go
  14. I have no real opinion on Shapioro as a CEO other than the moves timing is rude to Beeston as they finally put together a team that has great potential in Sept. and they announce this.........
  15. I forgot Pennington and you are right on both counts.
  16. At the moment this on the field roster has no duds and that's good because there is some potential for Duds in the SP in these last 30+ days of the season.
  17. I can't believe all the well deserved love Goins is getting from this crowd now. He's a undisputed warrior at second base and with the addition of Tulowitzki the infield is shut down and doubles are a ever growing possibility. The small amount of playing time he got prior to the two injury replacement stints that Travis afforded him gave no true reflection of his true values to this team. His youth also reflects that he has room for skill improvements which we are seeing now at the plate....Go Ryan Go....
  18. I don't have much confidence in either but would go with Estrada over Dicky or Hutch as the flood gates already have opened on Dickey the last two games. The bats were the only thing that kept Dickey alive. Hutch's game at Buffalo indicated he has not resolved much and with out bats behind him he is not going to get it done. So Price, Burhle, Estrada and at the moment Dickey.....Stroman is a long shot hopeful and fan favorite..............Rangers next up Go jays hopefully they never left the bats in Anaheim.........
  19. You bet. See if he can hit a ball tonight.
  20. Price was great with Martin framing the ball and the umpire was generous at times. Donaldson is doing his job with RBI's. Revere had 4 hits and good base running which showed he can contribute and Smoak punched one out of the park. Infield defence didn't look as sharp as usual. My verdict is still out on Pennington vs Goins. Angels sucked last night with quiet bats from their horses and the Jays biggest weapon was multi walks and 3 errors that gave the effect of a Jays dominated game. Also last time I counted the Jays left at least 6 on base during this game. Hopefully they get it together tonight as the Angels aren't going to roll over and play dead after this humiliating game......lets see which Estrada shows up tonight.
  21. Right on, and the best is some of these guys are trying to use stats and bad luck to justify not sending him down.
  22. Hutch is not predictable is his problem you just don't know what is showing up on the mound from start to start over this season. Of late I have been betting on poor starts from him. The rest of the regular season he could sink this team, in the post season you could hide him in the rotation with 7 game series and days off. Hope the get another SP......
  23. Hutch out and out is lucky his run support is the only thing that has kept him in the majors. His luck is going to run out as the jays start to play big hitting teams with shut down pitching like NYY. Hutch is the weak spot. Estrada will do fine.
  24. I usually have to leave when Loup comes up to pitch but what he did last night was what we wanted a ground ball and he shattered the guys bat. That was on Donaldson as he almost put in the stands no big deal the bull pen came in and did there job........
  25. Get off Hutch's back this is a team game and the jays now have a formable bull pen which can come in when he stumbles (I can't believe how they show cased them last night) combined with defence and bats we have a chance at this division. Hopefully we show the same effort in NY......
