  1. I would most certainly think so.
  2. GcL Jays and Lansing had playoff drives. Our DSL team was very good. Sam Buelens got to enjoy Ang's goats. Things are good. And in the greatest revalation....we are NOT the Orioles hangout!
  3. I couldn't agree more. Jeepers eight RBI's in two games, coinciding with a thread started on this forum talking about how we can't develop hitting prospects. Lol. Believe me two games in the AfL doesn't make us the Chicago Cubs, but this is the most positive this entire organization has been top to bottom in 25 years. I know its not going to happen, but I hear positive outlooks makes life more enjoyable.
  4. Okay so re-living last nights game through the posts on Orioles Hangout could be the most entertainment I have had in a long time.
  5. An even bigger issue is his struggles against left handed batters...Hopefully the cutter will start to tame their success against him.
  6. Okay I promise to stop with AFL updates. Tellez with a single and two more RBI's
  7. Marcus Stroman Jordan Zimmerman RA Dickey Anderson/Leake Hutchison/Osuna/Sanchez
  8. ^Do this. Explain what is going on too. They will be very interested if this type of reverse ticket fraud is going on. It figures you get scammers selling fraudulent tickets, and than scammers reverse scamming because of the fraudulent tickets.
  9. Yeah I would guess the audience will be a fair bit smaller, because it was not a holiday. Though I'm predicting the peak to maybe be 8-10 million. Maybe even 10+million.
  10. Yeah its a cash league. $69 entry. 1st - 60% 2nd - 25% 3rd - 10% 4th - entree fee Consolation Bracket Winner - half entry fee Which breaks down like this: 1st - $800.00 2nd - $341.00 3rd - $136.00 4th - $69.00 CW - $34.00 Yeah I almost was able to get into the league at the start of this past year. I didn't realize I had an message back from Boxy and by the time I replied it had been filled. Hopefully a spot will open up next year. Fortunately there is only one other Jays fan in the SSD. Lol, though being one caused me to waste a pick of Smoral last year.
  11. Is it sad that I'm following Tellez batting..on Gameday? He's batting against Jason Garcia. Who just struck him out, lol.
  12. Bring it inside....that's some good hitting.

  15. Barry Davis says..this is serious stuff....please quit drinking in my work place.
  16. I'm going to target Alford with the 19th or 24th
  17. De Leon is owned already. AJ Reed is not however. This is who I have on my minor league roster. I have a bunch of picks in the first two and half rounds (its a six round draft). Sorry I know this has nothing to do with the Jays and I should use this in another thread. We are allowed 12 MiLB, so I have to call four up (and cut Smoral) I'm thinking I may try to move a bunch of assets for a stud player. 18. Quick question. I'm in a keeper league that has a minor league draft. The draft will include player's from last years Rule 4 draft, and player's that were have taken a huge jump in prospect status and IFA's. I have the fourth overall pick. I was thinking Anderson Espinosa or Andrew Benintendi?
  19. Thanks. If he's throwing 95-96 with lots of sink...that's the exact line I would expect. No hits, two walks, and three strikeouts. I'll keep saying it. I think Richard Urena is going to be something. He obviously needs to work on his strike zone recognition. But 19 year old shortstops with power is kind of exciting. Chubby first baseman....who hit baseballs out of the stadium.
  20. I just wondered, when I saw in his AFL debut, he had an inning with 3K and 2BB. Lol, seemed like a line for someone who throws very hard, but isn't quite sure to where.
  21. I think Ryan Tepera has a future as a serviceable reliever, but because of all above stated reasons...Jeff Francis.
  22. My thoughts are in 3-5 years from now, when the names of at least a few of Anthony Alford, Rowdy Tellez, Dalton Pompey, Richard Urena, Dan Jansen, Vlad Jr. and Max Pentecost are considered well developed major league hitters. The thought that the Jays can only develop pitching may change. Also Franklin Baretto will probably be someone who the Jays signed that becomes a very good major league hitter.
  23. Look at his minor league splits....
  24. I disagree. Unless they are a starting pitcher or one of the 8 starters in the field. You do not keep someone on the roster who could be unavailable for up to 4 games.
  25. That's too bad, I liked his perspective. Anybody who's first language is sarcasm, is okay in my books. Alright off to election training. I'm a Central Polling Supervisor for the election. Sucker for punishment!
