  1. Does Brady Dragmire have a big arm? Just curious, I don't know anything about him.
  2. That's a strong reminder that you are still alive! Good news!
  3. I don't think it is anyone's business what the family issue is. They do need to figure out if he is available for the ALCS though. If not, give him the time to look after his family and look at other options.
  4. I've met some people along the way, Some of them split some of them stay, Some of them walk some walk on by, I've got a few friends I'll love till I die From all of these people I try to learn, Some of them shine some of them burn, Some of them rise some of them fall, For good or bad I've known them all We live our life in our own way, Never really listened to what they say, The kind of faith that doesn't fade away We are the true believers We are the true believers Well you can fight or you can run, Hide under a rock till the war is won, Play it safe and don't make a sound, But not us we won't back down True believers all the way, You and I... We live our life in our own way, Never really listened to what they say, The kind of faith that doesn't fade away We are the true believers We are the true believers True believers
  5. I was under the impression Mark Buehrle had reverse splits and never pitched out of the bullpen in his career....yeah I'm not going to bother continuing to argue this. You can't blame a manager for making the wrong in-game decision because the general manager didn't put the right players on the roster. You certainly can't predict Cecil's injury or Loup being unavailable. I would love to know who you replace on the roster, with those players....
  6. Now that's fair. I forgot Estrada was available tonight. He's probably with that change up, better than a lot of lefty's.
  7. I have a Biological Engineering degree, don't talk to me like I don't understand math. The reality is there are right and left handed batters sprinkled throughout the lineup. You can't change pitchers every batter. Unless Pat Venditte was somewhere in the RC, we had NO LHP. So who should have we brought in to their LH's?
  8. Yes. Now answer the question. Who do you pitch instead.
  9. I like the looks of that. I would be very surprised if Cueto goes on short rest, with the season he's had health wise.
  10. Who do you pitch against lefties tonight? Justin Smoak?
  11. Okay than I'll bite. Who do you bring in to pitch instead? My thoughts at the time was perhaps Mark Lowe, but I'm not convinced that's the right move either. Sanchez struck Choo out. I'm not going to put blame on anyone for that run, but its certainly not on Sanchez. With the series he had, I'm sorry to say, you have confirmation bias with Aaron Sanchez.
  12. Yeah IFA's can be wacky with rookie cards. The USA sets Topps puts out can also mess with "true rookie card" It looks like Osuna's rookie is 2013 Bowman Chrome. There's also an Elite Extra auto rookie from 2013. He has an appalachian league 2012 card, which is a minor league card
  13. What year is his rookie card from?
  14. I would think. I bought 3 Marcus Stroman rookie cards on http://www.thepit.com this morning. I have way too much money invested on that site. Kind of cool though. I've had an account since like 2000. Sports card trading like a stock market.
  15. You have no idea how many Guilermo Quiroz and Dustin McGowan rookie cards I own.
  16. Shafer strike throwing machine. 2 IP 2H 2SO 0R Guerrero 1/2 with RBI
  17. It was 850K and I would guess UCLA, he's a California kid I think
  18. God I love Aussies. My town hosts their National Fastball team every time the ISC World's are in North America. They always play exhibition games against all the South Perth Men's League's teams to warm up for the World tourney. My team played against them a couple different times. The only thing that they are better at than ball, is crushing beer after the game. Their top pitcher spent the summer here playing in our league when he was 19. He was offered a minor league contract to play baseball, but he could make the same money coming over and pitching two months for an ISC team.
  19. Remove thanks from Tercet because it was sarcasm. Give thanks to GD, because its deserved. Its a fact, I give more thanks when alcohol is mixed with a Blue Jays win.
  20. If the Royals win, you'll find out just how important David Price is.
  21. Did Guerrero not also play some second base?
  22. 30th round pick. If AA keeps making a habit of late round diamonds, we are going to be strong for a long time.
  23. I got sucked in...change that to a simple FYSMD.
  24. Kevin Pillar. However, I think Aaron Sanchez should be an option. Dude pitched in 5 games! 5.1 IP 3H 1 R 0 ER 1 BB 6 SO. I still say Pillar, just saying Sanchez should get honourable mention.
