  1. I can buy that. Just thought it was ironic both were injured "trying to break up double play" in one form or another.
  2. I believe! Today we get one step closer to everyone's goal. Let's GO BLUE JAYS.
  3. R.A. Dickey throws a gem today! Oldest pitcher in history to make his postseason debut. Win this won for pops today R.A. He's most certainly cheering for you!
  4. Does anyone find it ironic that Adrian Beltre injured himself trying to break up a double play? Also that JD missed half the first game for the same reason.
  5. I believe we will win tonight. I finally get to watch a game! Go Jays.
  6. I would agree. Though it seems we haven't particularly had any real bumper AfL crops like some teams have. I feel like the Jays use more aggressive promotion through the minors, and a heavy workload that way, than the AFL. I'm intrigued a little bit about Girodo. I would be really excited if Tellez tears up the AfL. At least as excited as I can get for the AfL.
  7. I BELIEVE. We can win three games in a row.
  8. Too late..Correa has already broken his leg. Though it was sliding into third base.
  9. ^ Those are two of the best hip checks I have seen, and that includes hockey. I also have no sympathy for Kang now. I would also add that if players don't try to break up the double play....they lose the respect of their team-mates. That is a fact.
  10. I like this thought process. If we are able to win tonight, start Dickey tomorrow. Have Price piggyback Dickey's start. If we are able to win that, Stroman had great success following Dickey last year.
  11. I also don't know if its been noted anywhere. We have the following players playing for Salt River Rafters in AFL: Brady Dragmire, Justin Shafer, Chad Girodo, Rowdy Tellez, Matt Dean, and Roemon Fields. http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/2015-afl-rosters-breakdown/
  12. Can mods be banned? I'm not implying that any should...I was just curious. Do you have to lose your moderator status...than be banned? Or does becoming a moderator make you invincible? On a more serious side I like this thread. Here is BA's list of League Top 20 Prospects. http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/2015-league-top-20-prospects-index/
  13. I like this roster. I think it was pretty much the way you had to go. Estrada can also be used out of the bullpen. Loup's bad luck can't continue...I hope.
  14. Holy crap, that was a lie. I was curious so I checked it out. It would appear I also have JaysFan2014 banned! Whoever Dogg and Zee were...they still suck.
  15. I don't know, but Real Ac is the only member I have ignored on here. Blue Jays message board Politics...interesting.
  16. I think better pitch selection comes from experience; more at bats, seeing more major league pitching, seeing those pitcher's multiple times. I'm sure Mr. Jacoby helped some, but Ryan Goins has been able to learn from his past failures.
  17. It's great to have a pitcher my height succeed. Now I know that if I could have thrown 95 instead of 75, I could have been a pitcher instead of second baseman. Thank you Marcus! I actually like the Doc comparison a little bit. I think they may not share physical traits, but do share similar mental traits. I think they do also have a similar repertoire.
  18. Attending the game where ALCS and World Series Championship Banners are unveiled at the Rogers Centre!
  19. In 5,4,3,2,1...
  20. ^This and a million dollars.
  21. Though I clearly don't like anyone wishing an injury on him. I think this is a wise move.
  22. Hey f***tard, try to post your idiotic statements only once. We don't need to see how stupid you are... twice. Anybody who wishes an injury on someone who helped us get to where we are this season, is a f***ing moron. Guess who Aaron Sanchez can strike out...you 10/10 times. On a way more important note...I saw Alexis on Fire tonight and they are back together. I also saw Weezer play the entire Pinkerton album. I did not see the Jays game, but Riot Fest was awesome! Sorry for a drunken post, but I can't stand retards who ignore 12-15 lights out appearances, and yap after a couple bad one's. It's truly ridiculous.
  23. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/jays-mets-royals-reaping-the-rewards-of-on-field-success/ Interesting read. These numbers will help the new President.
