  1. One of my favourite interview questions as a manager for sales teams is "what statement resonates more with you?" I love winning or I hate losing. This team does not hate losing. It loves winning but it doesn't HATE losing. Maybe this result changes some things for them but they have a lot to prove until they learn to have more fire in their bellies.
  2. Yah this one was bad. I read that Bo and Vlad are 4 for 29 in 4 playoff games? Yah SSS but sheeit, that is rough...
  3. Rays pitchers get 1 run of support in 24 innings...lol. Good, f*** Tampa
  4. Surprised they didn't leave Whit at second and swap Tapia for JBJ in left.
  5. "anger"...lol. ok man... You do make a hell of a speech though
  6. Holy f***...you flip-flop like tweaker on Spring-break... I don't know why anyone here is even responding...it's a s*** take... You honestly can't expect to come on this site with s*** takes and not expect to get nutted on... wipe your face and move on bro.
  7. I think a lot of people thought he would make the biggest difference in improving defense on Ryu's starts since Ryu had the "highest?" ground balls hit to 3rd in the AL last year...whoops...lol. Still a huge impact on D for sure.
  8. Damn...Manoah and Bichette both have legit claims to AL player of the month.
  9. I don't think it's all about the arm and health with Pearson at this point. He needs to have a bit of a run of success at AAA I think. If he comes up and has a bad/unlucky inning I am not sure if he has the track record to have the mental strength to "shrug it off" like the more experienced guys. Dude has had Sami Salo type luck so far in his career. Hard to say if that is it for sure but I wouldn't want to be in his head if he comes up and gets lit up. I am rooting for him big time!
  10. I 100% think we would not be in this position if Bongos was still the manager...no chance...
  11. Moreno might be the best of all three at catcher but Jansen and Kirk are already an amazing tandem. I get how tempting it is to move Moreno off of C...but man is that a tough call. I think the move that makes the most sense is to have him take a lot of reps at 3rd base in the offseason. Then if he looks comfortable there it makes the decision to extend Chapman easier. In a couple seasons you maybe move Bichette if it looks like he is a high priced ticket the team can't afford, move Espy to SS, Biggio at 2nd and Moreno at 3rd. But at the end of the day Moreno might be the best catcher we have for the next 10 years. Damned good problem to have!
  12. Merrifield was/is fairly low cost insurance against Sprnger being unavailable. He his hitting like a drunk softballer right now but he could turn it around. If Sprnger gets healthy and stays on the field it won't matter much.
  13. I voted vs Mariners with the Jays at home. Would be a really fun series plus I think the Toronto fans would actually give Robbie Ray a standing ovation before he started. Would really show how much Toronto fans get behind their players. I think that will make signing Judge in the offseason easier.
  14. Right? I am on the west coast. Was looking forward to PVR'ing the game and watching with my coffee after a good sleep in!
  15. Seriously? Ugh... watching the games is literally all I want to do tomorrow...lol
  16. The way we beat the Sox feels like the way the Ray's beat us... 😅 Sorry but suck it Sox fans
  17. The Boudreau pep-talk cursed them...typical Canuck luck. Amazing tourney from the Canadian team. I have participated in coaching that level of little league. Love it.
  18. Can they send Kikuchi to the pitching clinic in Dunedin? Is that even an option? It would do him a ton of good to work with the sports-shrinks and pitch mechanic peeps. Just to settle him down and take him out of the spotlight for a while would be a big help. (assumption alert =>) He is probably feeling a lot of shame and pressure right now. Doubt the poor dude can even get a woodie these days.
  19. Kirk, Teo, Chappy in that order
  20. Surprised Hernandez is playing today since there is a off-day tomorrow. Here is hoping for more podium smacking from Boone after the game!
  21. Awesome performance by the Gausmann, Garcia and Romano tonight. The Yanks batter's did not have a lot of confidence tonight. You could really see it in their demeanor at the plate. They were all hope...and all prey...lol
  22. The Apple TV broadcast got a bit better as the game went on. I wouldn't be surprised if they were getting live feedback during the game that said "shut the f*** up and talk about the game"...lol.
  23. Holy crap these guys just won't shut up about everything but the game they are watching...
  24. When I watch on Apple TV I never know who is big and strong and who is a real ballplayer.
  25. Yah that was some 111mph power. Hopefully he is getting healthy and we see some more home run and gap power from him.
