    Fangraphs incorrectly lists him at 1st. He's certainly an interesting player - even more so if he can play 3rd and/or 2nd.

    If find it incredibly exciting to follow the farm system (through box scores only). It kind of reminds me of when I was 12 years old (before streaming, before lots of non-blue jay games were on tv, heck, before all the jays games were even televised). I can't thank King enough for doing these reports (as I probably wouldn't bother looking up the box scores on my own otherwise).

    DSJ continues to mash. Tellez dropped in the order Jose Fernandez 2.0 continues to dominant (anyone have any reports on him? what's changed?) Mayza seems to have turned it around. Bradley Jones played 2nd base last night? I thought he was a 1st baseman?

    I love how Jay f***ing Bruce is shoving this boards negativity towards him right down our throats right now. Maybe Shatkins actually knew something we didn't about this guy (and his new approach at the plate). Then again - maybe it's early and he's still horrible...but he'd look amazing in LF right now.

    I don't know if judging based on what they did in Cleveland is a good assumption. Different ownership, different payroll.

    I think you're overplaying the past. Steamers projects JD as a 5.2 WAR player this year and we can only assume it will continue to decrease in 2018 and beyond. If you're signing him to a $200M player, you're paying for his decline and "building" around a depreciating asset, who, moving forward, may not be the superstar he once was. That's what the Angels did went they signed Pujols and Hamilton.
