  1. yeah - right after his body hits Gurriel's glove that's in fair territory.
  2. How is that a terrible call? He didn't take one f***ing step in the running lane.
  3. Did you see that flashback they showed? Jack Buck called the 1991 World Series Game 6 walk off HR by Kirby Puckett saying "we'll see you tomorrow night" (for game 7) And then Joe Buck made the exact same call "we'll see you tomorrow night" 20 years later in 2011 when David Freeze hit a walk off HR in Game 6 of the World Series? I never knew that before. That's incredible. Jack Buck died in 2002. Joe had probably been waiting ever since to honour his Dad. Could you imagine the emotion when Freeze hits the Game 6 walk off and he finally gets to make that call at the perfect time. He must have been balling. That's what's great about baseball.
  4. nipples is covered when the child is breastfeeding. The nipple changes everything. Plus, for the love of god, 99.9% of breastfeeding women put a cloth over their tiddy. In fact, I'm not sure I've actually seen a women in public with the tiddy hanging out for all to view.
  5. https://www.12up.com/posts/video-washington-nationals-security-guard-knocks-out-fan-with-one-punch-at-world-series-houston-astros-01dr6wb611x7/partners/40030 bam - right in the kisser.
  6. No response to this? I clearly still see it also.
  7. That's awesome. I love how one girl was fully committed, while the other wasn't so sure about this decision...
  8. Completely agree (and I too am pulling for the Astros as they are my 9 year olds fav team)
  9. and Max is scratched with neck spasms. Joe Ross to start Game 5. OUCH.
  10. I'm still really interested to see if Cole will ever pitch on short rest...
  11. I've obviously overestimated my contributions to the board.
  12. I think the FO agrees with this. They always talk about having 'waves' of talent coming up and that's how you build a sustainable winner. I don't get the impression they are banking on Pearson, Manoah, and SWR to all pan out. The real question is - do we think the positional players are there? I'm not so sure.
  13. I can't tell if this is serious. I'll assume it's not. It can't be.
  14. Shocking that Buck didn't catch that and correct him.....yeah nevermind, it's not.
  15. Interesting decision to bring in Hudson to face Gurriel instead of Doolittle....but it worked.
  16. Did Matt Vasgersian just say "you need 5 more outs right, I don't understand why they aren't going to Doolittle or Hudson here" - in the bottom of the 7th with 1 out? #thatsbadmath
  17. That's savage. Perhaps if they have the gull to be ****s - people should have the right to tell them to pound salt and leave.
  18. Would reporters actually come into a clubhouse on the night the Astros advance to the World Series and start asking questions about how Osuna blew the save (promoting the defense by Taubman)? Why would they do that?
  19. Nats add Wander Suero to the WS roster. Crazy to think he wasn't already on it seeing as he was their 5th best pitcher this year posting 1.5 WAR out of the pen.
  20. Why is that? How can anyone say something like this without knowing what the AAV would be? Porcello's a proven innings eater who'll be entering his age 32 season. He's pitched in the AL east for awhile now and should give you just over 2 WAR per year - which would put him around the 80th most valuable pitcher in baseball (based on WAR, which yes, I know doesn't value relievers enough). Given how young our rotation is - I don't see any issue with bringing Porcello on board. Will they need to give him 2 or 3 years to get him to Toronto? I'll leave that up to the experts and trust their judgement.
  21. But it isn't averaged out (unless we're talking about luxury tax - which the Jays aren't even close to). It makes complete sense for the Jays to front load some big contracts now while they have a reduced payroll so they can free up payroll space when Vlad, Biggy and Bo need to be paid...
  22. "With Saturday's loss, the Yankees have gone ten years without winning the pennant, making the 2010s the first decade since 1910s in which they haven't reached a World Series." That's pretty insane.
  23. Sorry bruh - it's late! I have buddy named Sparky fwiw. My 9 year old is a HUGE Altuve fan. He's gonna be jacked in the morning.
