Interesting. I'm not a fan of the 'swoosh' on the front of these new jerseys, but I must say I LOVE Toronto's current home jersey - and really - I love almost all the jerseys. Very few I cringe at from that list. What I didn't realize before reviewing that list was the variances in terms of the shoulder patches. Some teams have both shoulders covered, some only 1 and others without anything. I'm also not sure I realized that some teams have #'s on the front, while others didn't. Perhaps I'm not very observant...

I have a hard time suggesting the Astros should be stripped of their Championship - or have an asterisks added without knowing exactly how many other teams were also doing illegal things to gain a competitive advantage...my gut tells me this isn't an isolated incident and thus I have a very hard time s***ing all over one team.

If he returns to his 2017-18 form, you're going to be a lot more than 'cool' with this deal.

I guess we'll see. His walk rate was good last year, but was in the 6% range in 2018, which isn't good.

I mean outside of 2017, he's about a 110 wRC+ guy with OK defense in LF. I don't see what the big fuss over him is. I'm not even sure he's a significant upgrade over Grichuk or Gurriel for me. I'd rather target a CFers and flank him with those 2 - letting Teo platoon at 1st and DH with Fisher as our 4th OFer.

Isn't Iglesias going to fall into Galvis territory? He'll want to go somewhere he's a starter because he thinks he's a starter even though he's really a fringe starter? I mean Iglesias would be a great add, but Cesar just got $6.5M - won't Iglesias get something similar? Do we want to pay him that much to be our backup IF? I mean maybe we do.

Except his wRC+ v. LHP was 67 in 2018 (151 in 2019). I like the concept though.

I guess. Dickerson isn't a massive hack in LF though. I believe his defense suffered last year due to a foot injury? But he was a positive in 2018 at least.

I mean that REALLY depends on the cost. If EE is 1 year $10M, I'd probably be good with Castellanos at 3 years $45M or something. I'd pay more to get a young hitter entering his prime years over the risk that EE falls off a cliff. But if it takes 5 years $100M for Castellanos - I'd rather sign EE and then go year by year ala Ortiz Keep in mind that EE was still a better hitter than Castellanos last year. Either way - I'm not super keen on signing guys with little to no defensive value or versatility. Still think Corey Dickerson should be targeted.
