  1. Olerud - please don't scare off sliderguy. He's a great addition to the board. Thanks.
  2. CBS Sports (@cbssports) • Instagram reel WWW.INSTAGRAM.COM 20K likes, 170 comments - cbssports on August 4, 2026: "Switched throwing arms mid-play 👀 (🎥: MiLB)". That's wild!
  3. Not anymore. Brutal news for him and the Padres. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dboh6YChkvq/?igsh=M2JvNDJwcjR4MTl6
  4. I graciously accept victory on the matter. Thank you very much 🤣
  5. Put down the pipe. And calling Soriano an ace is as egregious as suggesting he's a #4.
  6. That's a good reminder of how complex the trade deadline is for those who love to blame their team's GM for not reading the market corrected at all times.
  7. The changes in framing and defense alone already improve his effectiveness.
  8. That delivery looks a lot better than I expect, based on his BB/9. He looks filthy. Him and Carlon give us a couple of tall, high release, nasty lefties in the system. Me likey.
  9. I don't think our entire farm system would be worth Yordan. We'd have to include Yesavage too. Seriously.
  10. Man - looking into this Rutschman trade. 1.5 years of Adley for 2 Top 100 prospects and the 15th overall pick in the draft last year? Seems wild to me.
  11. I think you spelt innings wrong...
  12. No offense, but you've moved the goal posts. Now he's a #3/4 during the postseason. Got it. I think it's reasonable to refer to him as a great #3. If he's our #4 in the playoffs, then we're laughing. His career xFIP is better than Cease's for context.
  13. I'm pretty happy you were wrong John! Fun trade deadline for the Jays and just overall as a baseball fan.
  14. Isn't that a coaching issue?
  15. I know what you're saying. There would be more starters with 3+ WAR if they can stay healthy.
  16. Hill, King and Carlon!
  17. A great reminder that these guys are all human at the end of the day. Wish all the former Jays the best of luck
  18. The new Jason Varitek...
  19. Dasan Hill was the 69th overall pick in 2024. Big time strikeout rates in A+ ball. He seems to be the guy. 7th ranked prospect in the Twins org.
  20. The Twins and Blue Jays are in agreement on a deal sending righty Jeff Hoffman from Toronto to Minnesota, per Ben Nicholson-Smith and Shi Davidi of Sportsnet. Minnesota sends three minor leaguers back the other way, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports: lefty Dasan Hill, righty John Klein and infielder Dameury Pena.
  21. Could be a factor. Teams may also just not value Gausman that high anymore. He hasn't been great the last few months and his playoff track record isn't inspiring.
  22. Jackson Rojas is the 47th prospect in baseball per fangraphs. For Holmes? Mighta pulled the trigger too early on Gausman. Jays must love Bateman.
  23. Wow. 4 years of control of Arrighetti. Seems like a no brainer for the Jays.
