  1. I'm probably good with that rotation. Add some s*** ballers to fill out AAA. The issue with White is he has no options and not sure we want him in the bullpen this year?
  2. Bellinger is a fascinating and polarizing FA. On one hand, he seems like a great fit for the Jays. We could really use a legit, dynamic LH bat and we have room to add within our OF. He's entering his age 28 season, so he's younger than most big name FA's, which is a major plus in my mind. And of course, he's someone who's previously shown legit star ability. Unfortunately, his statcast page isn't all that red and there's legitimate concern that his true talent may be more in the 2-4 WAR range, which will only drop as he ages and his speed/defense decline. If the Jays are serious about him, I sure hope they have a good read on what he's going to be moving forward. If he is signing in the same range that Springer did - that could be a solid addition. I think I'd rather have Belly than Chapman for that price.
  3. 5th ranked prospect per Fangraphs.
  4. You can probably add Bregman to that list too...but I agree - none of those guys are on the superstar level (yet) like Ohtani, Betts, Soto, etc. Tucker is the closest.
  5. I'm 6'1 215 and I look like a pretty average dude IMO. You and Grant are Manute Bol and Bol Bol I think. Depending on which one of you is older.
  6. I just spoke to my pilot friend. He's at Pearson right now. Hasn't spotted Ohtani yet. Apparently he doesn't fly Air Transit? He's going to check the Swoop lineup. I'll report back.
  7. He's going to break my dick out of this chastity cage soon!
  8. Good to see Jerb is back. He's the only person I trust to break the news around here.
  9. Sounds like a battle of the giants is about to go down. Grant's a giant too isn't he? 3 way battle to the death.
  10. 6'8" - mental note to stop chirping Dick.
  11. How the f*** are people supposed to work in a time like this?
  12. You have no idea if that's true. You don't. Don't pretend you do. Braves, O's and TB won a combined 1 playoff game this year. Playoffs are a crapshoot.
  13. FFS, it's like Jays24 and jaysblue f***ed and had a child.
  14. Yeah - I don't know if you can compare this to Bryce Harper coming back from TJS to play 1st base. Given Ohtani will be working back to pitch again, I suspect the restrictions would be different than they were for Harper.
  15. Obviously not, or he wouldn't have brought up projections...
  16. I just put the Jays brothers on ignore. You're wasting your time responding to morons.
  17. 3rd: Manoah for Reds infielder (Marte, Steer, etc.) 2nd: In-house (Schneider, Biggio, Espy) LF: Dumpster diving. LF is one of the easiest positions to fill in baseball. Renfroe, Duvall, etc. Vets will want to play LF in Toronto if we land Ohtani and Yama.
  18. 3 years, $45M for Candyman + $15M club option
  19. That could very well be true. It would be a lot more consistent with the recent cost of good defensive CFers (Bader for 1.5 years of Montgomery). Thorpe + fillers for Soto could very well be the deal. Would the Jays want to move Ricky + fillers for 1 year of Soto? Maybe they didn't?
  20. Easy there. You'll confuse him with all those facts. Can someone message me when jaysblue is done with his weekly rant about how s***** Atkins is? It just never stops.
  21. Enough with the broken record s*** man.
  22. I'm pretty sure he's already made up his mind...
  23. To be fair - I am surprised that Grisham is seemingly just a throw in player. They paid a lot to get him (at the time) and between the recent Bader (for Montgomery) and Varsho trades, I would have thought Grisham would have provided more in return.
