  1. Maybe he gives zero f***s about money, but all the f***s about gambling? I haven't read into this, but I believe they originally said Ohtani gave him $4.5M to pay off gambling debts or something and then changed the story to suggest he stole it? It does seem super odd that his interpreter has access to his bank account (maybe he was given authorization to take a certain amount out, but took way more?). I think it's best to reserve judgement (either way) until there is more information available.
  2. Rodriquez is almost certainly going to start in AAA. Also, Swanson is injured and probably starts the year on the IL. What an awful spring for Swanson! First his 4 year old son is hit and critically injured by a vehicle and now his forearm is strained. This could be a lost season for him unfortunately. Cabrera, Pearson and Richards will all make the team.
  3. Update on Gausman Kevin Gausman (shoulder) feels “sound physically” after a two-inning simulated game on Wednesday. The Blue Jays ace will now throw 60-65 pitches over three innings in a game, likely on Monday. After that outing, the team will make a call on his availability for the start of the season. If he responds well on Monday, the team would likely have him throw 70-80 pitches in a regular season game to start the season, so it will be a few starts before he’s fully ramped up. However, that’s not uncommon for this time of year and the fact that Gausman feels healthy is the most important part.
  4. It would really be amazing to get actual insight into the Jays decisions to see where the board is "bang on", or if we regularly overthink things. I mean, for all we know, the Jays might just want to get a look at Clement in LF to see if he's an option in a pinch. It could have ZERO impact on who's making this team.
  5. I think it takes away from "opening day" a bit, which I really don't like. And I don't think fans in those respective countries will really care if it's the "kick-off" to the season or not - but it's probably the only way to make it feasible for a time/travel perspective is to do it before the season "really" starts.
  6. I mean - pegging is a thing for heterosexual men too, so I think "ankle grabbers" is a universal term for all those who enjoy prostate play.
  7. You grossly overestimate the value of coaching.
  8. Are the Giants contenders now? I still think they're s***, but others think they're going to be great now that they added Chapman and Snell.
  9. Never eaten at Taco Time. I find most the chain Mexican places to be similar. Quesada, Fat Bastard Burrito, Quac, Mucho Burrito, BarBURRITO, etc. Taco Bell's made a push back into relevance though.
  10. I'm not going to lie - I do enjoy the roast beef when they have it. I love getting their hot chicken sandwich, but will go with the hot roast beef sandwich when it's offered (limited time only). That Chicken Parm Sando is also unbelievable. Regarding attire, I must say the average age of people eating there is typically 72, so there are a lot of slacks being worn. I love it though when I'm with the kids. It's a sit down restaurant that only takes like 20 minutes to get your food. I don't have time for normal sit down restaurants these days.
  11. Arbys and Taco Bell man. C'mon.
  12. Snell is coming off a Cy Young season. I'm not sure he's going to get more on the FA market next year (even if he performs well again this year). If teams won't pay him what he wants this season, why would they next offseason, when he's a year older with more milage on his arm? This isn't a Belly situation where people just doubt that he's "back".
  13. What the f***? That's offside.
  14. His speed is only 70th percentile. If Varsho should steal 30, then based on your logic, KK should be stealing 50. Unfortunately, that's not how it works.
  15. 430 Mbps download 32 Mbps upload
  16. what's wrong with you?
  17. From Rotoworld Aaron Judge did not hit on the field on Monday, as he was scheduled to do. So far the Yankees have said Judge was removed from a game after a pre-arranged two at-bats. That was not true. They have said Judge would hit on the field on Saturday, which he didn’t do. They then said he would hit on the field on Monday, which he did not do. Judge has been swinging off a tee and was doing outfield drills early on Monday, so he’s still preparing for the start of the season, but the lack of a clear timeline for his return and the vague responses from the Yankees are beginning to get a bit troubling for a player who has dealt with injuries in the past. Considering the team had already said Judge would have to manage his toe injury all season, the risks are beginning to mount for Judge if you’re planning to take him in the early part of the first round of fantasy drafts.
  18. I think this is what my parents have and what I was considering. I have no idea what my upload/download speeds are though.
  19. If I have 3 kids using the internet non-stop - I assume these IPTV set ups won't work the best for me?
  20. Oh man - that was insane. What a finish. Sheff is a beast. He's the guy.
